Noah Richardson walked down the hallway of The Next Step Dance Studio, sweating like a pig.
He was going to try and audition for A-Troupe again, and his stomach was in knots. He was confidant, but he was only fourteen. The last time he auditioned for A-Troupe he didn't get in because he was too young. And he was scared that even though he was a year older now, the same thing would happen again. Especially because internationals. But it was whatever, he was confident in himself and he knew he would make it in.
Or at least he was hopeful.
As he was walking down the hallway to the change room to change into his dance clothes, he walked past the music room and something caught his eye.
He couldn't help but notice an unfamiliar yet beautiful girl warming up in there all by her lonesome. She had long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail and she was about 5'9 with brown eyes. She was wearing an Elite uniform, meaning she if she was joining, it would be from the merge.
Noah got distracted, for her beauty was too much for him to handle. She was like, straight out of a Disney movie or something. And heck, the auditions weren't for another hour. He had plenty of time to watch a cute girl stretch for a while. So, he stood in the doorway and watched.
"You know, I can see you in the mirror and I don't like being objectified." The girl said, startling the bejeebees out of Noah.
"Wait what, I wasn't watching you." He said, trying to act cool but it wasn't really working.
"Sweetheart," she said with sarcasm lacing her words. "I saw you in the mirror. Besides, that wasn't a very good hiding spot." She broke her stretching and turned to face him.
"Well I--" He was stumped. "Yeah, I really have no excuse do I?"
The girl shook her head.
"Yeah okay.." Noah said, scratching the back of his head.
"But maybe I can let it slide if I can get the name of my possible stalker." She giggled lightly and coldly under her breath as she crossed her arms.
"Oh, uh, Noah..." He said, awkwardly. "That was really good by the way."
"Thank you." The girl said, staring at the ground for a quick second as she walked over to him. "I'm Abi by the way. Spelled A-B-I."
"Oh, well my name is spelled U-R-A-Q-T." Noah joked, using a pick up line his older brother Eldon let him use.
"Stop with the corny pick up lines." Abi said, annoyed.
"Okay." Noah said, biting his lip and starring at the ground.
"Now, if you excuse me..." Abi said, walking away from Noah. "I have to stretch so I can make A-Troupe."
"Okay. Well I'll see you around?" Noah asked, hope tinted in his words.
"Wouldn't count on it." Abi said, shaking her head.
"Okay then..." Noah said. "I'll just leave you be..." He started to walk away from the music room.
He walked to the change rooms, realizing one thing.
He couldn't take his mind of her.
