Soul Dance

Everyone was going to be there, the couples to the children, it was a ceremony that could not be missed. It was a ceremony to renew a Soul Bond and, for those who do not have a Soul Bond, get a chance to finally create one on the "Day Of Soul"

Athena and Bobby were hosting the Soul Dance ceremony at their house where they will dance their third Soul Dance. Their yard was full of lights and lanterns as well as food, drinks and many games for the children

Eddie, Buck and Christopher had come together, with Ana on their heels, Buck was the least happy that Ana was coming, after all he was Eddie's boyfriend and Ann was his ex but apparently Christopher had wanted Ana to come, or so she says.

Buck wasn't going to let Ana take away his night with Eddie and Christopher though, Buck would finally get to dance with Eddie and create their Soul Bond

Soul Bonds creates a bond between both dancers souls, letting them both feel each others emotions, feeling each others pain, getting each others wounds and sometimes being able to read minds if the bond is strong enough

Eddie wasn't a big believer in this Soul Bond business, Sharron believed in it and he took the time to learn more about Soul Bonds and Soul Dances so he could share a Soul Dance with Sharron but then she left and Eddie refused to ever go back on his beliefs, so when Buck came to him excited to share a Soul Dance with him, Eddie couldn't help with cringe inside

"Buck" Athena greeted with a kiss to his cheek, hugged Eddie then Christopher "Hey Athena, we brought some treats, Christopher and I made it ourselves" Christopher giggled and helped Buck pass the sweets over to Athena

"I told you we had everything covered and to just bring your adorable selves" Athena pinched Buck's cheeks with baby talk and ruffled Christopher's hair "Bobby is still cooking so feel free to make yourselves comfortable" Athena then seemed to notice Ana, with a tight smile Athena greeted her "Hi Ana, I didn't know you'd be with us tonight"

Athena glanced at Buck for an explanation but only held a frown, looking over at Bobby who was cooking "well, enjoy the night guys, the Soul Dance will start in a few hours" with that Athena left with a container full of treats

"Dad, can I go play with Denny?" Eddie smiled down at his son "go for it but remember to let me or Buck know if you're hungry okay?" Christopher nodded and made his way over to Denny who brightened up at the sight of his friend, immediately adding a controller to the game he was playing by himself

"I'm going to help Bobby in the kitchen and feed everyone before the big dance!" Buck was so excited for this dance he was basically infecting everyone with his excitement, Eddie leaned in to kiss Buck's cheek but was pulled back a bit by Ana "let's go sit over there Edmundo"

Eddie grimaced at the use of his full name and hurt flash in Buck's eyes when he began to forcefully follow Ana who pulled him away from Buck, Eddie turned to Ana when she led them both outside onto a loveseat couch "Ana, for whatever reason Christopher wants you and I won't deny him his wishes but you cannot take me away from Buck"

Eddie did not miss the flash of disgust at the mention of Buck "he's fine, he's with Bobby, we can talk here and enjoy the night" Ana all but purred and Eddie just sighed, he really didn't want to be here but he was supporting his boyfriend so what could he do?
