That I met | Chapter 2 |

Kagami's POV

As Y/n and I were eating, I thought back to the day we met.

Adrien and I were in the backseat of his car- well it wasn't his car, but you get the point. His bodyguard was driving us somewhere, I wasn't sure where, so I decided to ask him.

"Where are we going Adrien?"

He turned his head to look at me, "It's a surprise, but I want you to meet someone."

Surprise? I thought.

"Well, can you tell me about this person?" I asked.

"Of course, well this is someone who's very special to me. She's been in my life for as long I can remember, and I think it's time you guys finally meet."

Once he finished his sentence the car stopped, "Oh it looks like we're here."

We were outside a hospital, is this person he cares about a doctor?

Adrien's bodyguard opened the door for me so I could get out, "Thank you." I said as bowed.

He just nodded and went to open the door for Adrien.

Once Adrien got out he said, "Come on, I really want you to meet this person."

We walked inside the hospital and I followed Adrien to the front desk, "So, is the person I'm meeting today a doctor or something along the lines of that?" I asked him.

He chuckled and said, "No, she's a patient here."

Adrien knocked on his friends' door, "Come in!" I heard the person inside say.

Adrien grabbed my hand and opened the door, slowly walking in.

"Adrien!" the girl said with a smile, clearly happy to see him.

She got up from the chair she was sitting on and tackled him into a hug. I let go of his hand so he could hug her back.

He laughed softly and said, "I missed you too, Y/n."

He slowly let go and motioned towards me, "If you're wondering who she is, she's Kagami, the girl I told you about."

She looked at me and smiled, "So you must be Adrien's pretty girlfriend, he's told me so much about you!"

A small blush painted my cheeks, "Uh- thank you, you're very pretty as well."

She laughed a little at my awkwardness, "So Adrien, what brings you and your beautiful girlfriend here?"

"Well I wanted the two most important girls in my life to finally meet, since you're going to-" he couldn't finish his sentence since he was choking back tears.

She engulfed him into a hug and he buried his face into her neck and started sobbing, "I'm s-sorry I can't keep myself together, it's just I d-don't want to lose y-you."

She rubbed his back trying to comfort him, "I know we can't do anything to stop it, so let's try to have a good time. It's okay."

He slowly let go, Y/n cupped his cheeks and wiped away his tears, "You're right, we should try to make good memories while you're still here."

"Well, let's start now and watch a movie together!" she enthusiastically said.

She sat on her bed, "Where do you guys want to sit?" she asked.

"Kagami can sit on the bean bag chair, I'll sit on the floor."

I felt bad about him sitting on the floor so I objected, "No Adrien, I'll sit on the floor-"

"No no, it's fine-"

"How about one of you guys sit on the bed with me?" Y/n suggested.

"Isn't the bed only for the patient?" I questioned.

"It's fine! They won't know," she assured me.

"I'll sit next to you then-" I felt bad so I offered myself to sit with her instead.

"Wait Adrien, you can sit on the chair I'll sit with her. If you don't mind," I said the last part looking her way.

"Of course I don't," she smiled.

It surprised me how much she smiled, I mean how can you be so happy at the verge of death?

I sat down next to her and I asked, "What movie are we going to watch?"

"I'm not sure, you guys can pick."

She tossed the remote to Adrien, "Well there's this movie on Netflix called, ‘The Half of it,’ I heard it's good."

"Well let's watch it then!"
