Mordeci awoke again, he twisted and turned in his bed feeling unsettled. He spun his head towards the alarm clock. 3:26 a.m . "I need her." he sighed. He quickly got out of bed desperate to see her once again. He swung his front door open forgetting his jacket and leaving behind his footprints in the fresh snow. The weather was below freezing, white powder dusted his bright blue feathers.
Twilight sat in bed contemplating. Sleep was no use to her anymore. The moonlight reflected off the snow and created a beautiful scenery outside of her window. She couldn't help but cry, all she wanted was Mordeci. She never knew how bad she craved his touch until she no longer had it. Light crept in through the window and lighted up a section of her room. There lied the bear that Mordeci had gave her before they had parted ways. She stumbled towards the bear and brought it closer to her. She wrapped her arms around it, as she dug her face into it a subtle warm vanilla musk scent hit her. She recognized that fragrance. It was the smell of him. She was flushed with a feeling of comfort and safety just thinking about all the things he had done for her.
Twilight sat up startled by the loud pounds on her door, she turned on her phone. 3:34 a.m. "What the hell? Who would be here so late?" puzzled she stood up and made her way to the door. Standing on her tippy toes she looked through the peep hole. She felt her cheeks getting hot, "Why is he out there?"she mumbled to herself. She slightly creaked the door open "Come in, but make it fast". She had never seen him so distraught." Had he gotten any sleep since the breakup?" she pondered. She looked up as Mordeci stared at her, and finally he broke the silence. "Im sorry, I messed up. Star. I love you." he said slightly frantic as he stared down at his shoes. But Twilight could tell he was holding back tears, she always could. She had missed him, the way he looked at her, the way he smelt, when he would call her Star. She missed it all. Not being able to resist him she leaped into his arms. "I love you too."
