A/N: Just realised I always specify the types of the stands but I have no clue if you, folks, know what the hell they actually are. So the next three parts are each going to list the properties of each and give examples so you all really understand.

Close range stands are known for their capacity at inflicting powerful and fast physical attacks. Most of those stands are ranked between A and C for power and speed statistics. They are also very precise stands, being able to execute very specific movements, which usually make them ranked between A and C for this statistic as well. This great precision is explained by the fact that their user is directly commanding them. Close range stands generally obey their user's will.

Speaking of the user; most of them prefer and are better at directly confronting their opponent. This can be explained that the strength of a close-range stand is greater when closer to their target. Yet, being a close range stand doesn't necessarily means that its ability has a short-range. Some Stands may not be able to go far away from their User but have an ability that influences a large zone around them.

Examples of close range stands ; Sticky Fingers, Crazy Diamond, Star Platinum, Silver Chariot, The Hand, King Crimson, Kiss, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, California King Bed, Soft & Wet, etc.

Long distance stands (also called Remote Control stands and long range stands) are, as their ability category says it, known for their amazing range. Some of those stands are even able to go kilometres away from their Users which usually rank them A or B for it's range. Plus, it's User is usually able to command their movement with good precision. However, most of the time these Stands aren't a physical match for other types of Stands.

Similarly to the close range stand users, long range stand users exploit the range of their stands to their advantage. Long range stands are predisposed, due to their great range and precision, to set up good ambushes against their opponents.

It's not because a stand is categorized as a long distance stand that their attacks necessarily possess a great range. Some of them may need to be close to their target to execute a good attack.

Examples of long distance stands ; Hierophant Green, Echoes ACT1, Red Hot Chili Pepper, Sex Pistols, Whitesnake, etc.

Automatic stands are composed of two other slightly distinct groups of stands ; far-distance autopilot types of stands and of posthumous stands.

The general definition of automatic stands are stands who do not follow their Users' command, but rather, act automatically through preset instructions. In other words, they are separated from their user and don't depend on their user. This also have a considerable impact on the user/stand link relation ; even if you harm an automatic stand, the user won't be hurt, not even slightly.

Far-Distance Autopilot Types Stands can travel long distances from their Users without losing power. However they can only follow simple instructions centered around a single datum, this means they can't adapt to any situations or even make precise moves.

Posthumous Stands are capable of existing long after their User's death, enabling them to act on their own free will. Due to their nature, Dead Stands are automatic-based and, as such, range and damage to their user are irrelevant.

But, careful! Some other stands may also be able and/or demonstrate automatic abilities, the User needing minimal input. A Stand's ability may be linked to a condition unrelated to the User's will, making it semi-automatic. They could be sentient and act on their own without following their User's orders. In this case, the User may be unable to control it and possibly become a victim of their own Stand's power.

Examples of automatic stands ; Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Anubis, Notorious B.I.G., Superfly, Hey Ya!, King Nothing, Burning Down the House, etc.
