~Chapter 3~

The masked stranger doesn't stop running until we're about 5 blocks away from the restaurant. He stops in an ally and puts me down on the floor. He starts to breathe really hard but soon stops as he catches his breath. I don't know if I should run or stay but my instincts are telling me to stay. I stare at the masked man as he catches his breath. Who is this man? I quickly reach forward and pull his mask off, he grabs my forearm but I've already pulled the mask off. He has bright green eyes and cheek muscles that could cut through anything. I sit there mesmerized by his face. He even has the perfect skin tone, not to white but not too tan, just perfect. He then stares back at my hazel eyes and the world just seems to freeze right then and there. I then realize that I've been staring too long and I look down with a slight blush. He also looks down but his cheeks are as red as a tomato. "Who are you and why have you kidnapped me?" I finally ask with a voice that got stronger with every word. " I'm here to save you from those hit men that just attacked your father, please follow me somewhere safer, I can sense the hit men getting closer to us." He replied. "Wtf I don't even know who you are! Why would I follow you?!" I said sternly. "Fine then I'll just let you get killed..." He gets up and starts to walk away. I have a mini conference in my mind and say " wait for me!" He helps me up and walks me to a car parked in the alley. "Hey, can I at least know your name?" I ask him. "My name is Mathew but you can call me Matt if you like," he replied. He jumps in the car and starts the engine, the car quickly zooms into the street and off we go. "Can you tell me what's going on?" I ask, "not until we are in a safe location." "Ugh at least tell me where you are taking me!" I say angrily. "Fine we are going to my apartment, from there we'll find somewhere safer for you, now stop asking questions and let me get there!" And with that I sit in the car silently and hope for the best.
