prologue

3 years earlier

megan pov

"Oh Charlie this dinner is so good." I said as I dug into my favorite dinner spaghetti and meatballs. He smiled at me and said," Your welcome baby, you need more sauce." I already had a bunch of sauce on my plate so I dont understand why I need more. I smiled at him and said," Thanks baby but im not feeling well so I am going to go lay down." He gave me this weird smirk and said,"Okay baby go take a nap, I will clean this up and check on you in a bit." I walked upstairs and decided to take a long hot bath. I must of dozed off because the next thing I know I am waking up strapped into a chair. i started to look around and saw that there were candles everywhere. As I was fighting the restraints that were strapping me down I heard this hideous laugh. I look toward the door and see that it is Charlie. I stare at him in shock as he walks toward me carrying a bag. I start struggling more trying to get out of the chair. He bends down and says," I would stop struggling, this is gonna hurt worse." He grabs my arms and inserts and I.V into my arm. I say," Why Charlie? I love you and I thought you loved me. Why are u doing this?" He stands up and hooks up a bag with black liquid in it to my I.V and says,"I did love you, but once I created this drug I needed a test subject and you were the perfect candidate. Now shut up and relax, the drug will be taking effect soon."Charlie leaves the room when I started to cry and scream as the drug starts entering my body.

2 hours later

I was in complete darkness. I think I was dead but I am not sure. I see a figure walk up and its a girl who looks just like me except her eyes were solid black. She walks up to me and says," Hey, Im Morgan and we are now forever connected." I stared at her in shock and said," I dont understand how this happened." She laughed and said," You can thank Charlie for this. He created me and now we are apart of each other." I laughed and said," So what now?" She said," Well let me explain what I am. When Charlie created me, he created me for destruction. I destroy lives literally. I feed off of souls and I suck them right out of their bodies." I stand there staring at her in complete shock. I started screaming and say," Are you kidding me!! You are a demon! Oh my God, what am I gonna do! I have a demon half." Morgan put her hand on my shoulder and said," I shouldnt be saying this but because I like you, you will be able to learn how to control when I come out." I looked at her and said," Who would teach me. No one on this planet knows how!" She started looking around and said," You must wake up now! And run!!!!"
