"Jaymie!" I said and hug her.

"I missed you" She said.

"I missed you more, it's been 3 years since we last saw each other" I said.

"It's not the same without you here James" She said when we pulled away and I smiled at her.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Wait here" she said and walk away. Minutes later I saw her dragging a man with her.

"James, I want you to meet my boyfriend Jake. Jake, this is my bestfriend James" She said.

"Hi" He said and extended his hand and I took it.

"Hey. How long are you two together now?" I asked smiling but deep inside, I'm sad. Very sad.

"Were almost together a year now. I met him in my class. He's also taking Culinary arts" she said smiling while holding Jake's hand.

"Oh, that's good to hear. Jaymie-boo is not a little kid anymore" I teased and ruffled her hair.

"Hey! I am lady now, thank you very much" She said and slap my hand away, fixing her hair now.

"Uhmm.. Might leave you two alone for a moment and give you some time to catch up" Jake said and kissed Jaymie in the forehead and smiled at me before walking away.

"Wanna go to our spot?" I asked her and she nodded.

We got to the basement of our house and go through the window and to the roof of our house. This is the spot me and her hang out everytime since we are kids if we want to be alone and talk to each other privately. I peek at Jaymie who is just staring at the sunset going down. She's still as beautiful as always, wearing a red t-shirt, faded jeans, grey vans, with her hair braided, and no make up. That's what I like about her, being simple and do not care what people think about her, all she want do is to just have fun and live life.

"So, how's the tour?" she suddenly asked, breaking the silence.

"It's fun and there's many fans that came. But, it's too tiring. With the paparazzi's come out whenever we go and asking bunch of questions with their camera's flickering and stuff" I said.

"It sounds cool. But, not the paparazzi stuff" She said chuckling.

I chuckled "You know, I missed you a lot" I said looking at her.

"Yeah. I missed you too" she said looking at me smiling.

We talk catching up of what happened to us this 3 years, when mom suddenly poke her head in the window and looked at us.

"Kids, it's time to eat" she said.

"Ok mom, we will be right there" I said.

We go down the stairs and into the dining room. Our guests are now seating, me and Jaymie go to the vacant seats left. Me and Jaymie sit across each other, her beside Jake and me beside my mom. We prayed and started eating with the others chatting random stuff.

I zoned out while eating my spaghetti and chicken, thinking about Bom. How will I tell her what I feel when she have a boyfriend? Maybe I'll just wait for the right time to blurt it out or move on? She looks happy with him now. Maybe she really likes him and he really likes her. If she is happy with him, then maybe I should be happy for her.

When we all finished eating and the guests are now leaving, me saying goodbye to them.

"Good night James" Jaymie said giving me a hug, Jake beside her.

"Goodbye, nice to meet you again" Jake said giving me a man hug.

"You too" I said.

They go outside and walk the way home hand in hand.

"Good night mom and dad. I gonna go to bed. I'm pretty tired" I said to them.

"Ok son, Good night" dad said.

"I love you Good night" mom said.

"Love you too" I said and got up the stairs and into my room. It still look the same. My walls covered with posters, sky blue walls, my bed in blue sheets, and my study table. I go to my closet and the clothes that I left 3 years ago are still here neatly folded. I closed my closet and go to my suitcase lying on the floor and get a boxer and a grey t-shirt. I go to my bathroom and close the door behind me and strip. I got in the shower. The cold water gave me a shock but then it got warmer. After I dress up, I flop down on my bed still comfy as I remembr and I slowly drifted to sleep.
