GRAND CENTRAL, always crowded. Full of people leaving and coming into the city. Some visiting and others returning home. And Nikki was one of the locals. She's never left Brooklyn before. Well at least not for a long period of time. She never really wanted to.
Today was the return of her siblings Dan and Jenny. They just got back from visiting their mother in Hudson, Alison. Alison and Nikki's relationship is very strained. Well to clarify, by Nikki's choice. The last time she and her mother were in same room together, they got in this big argument...Let's just say Alison is a sensitive topic for Nikki.
"Welcome back!" Nikki welcomed, hugging her little sister. Then punching her twin in his arm."How's mom?" Rufus asked with wonder.
"She's uh-She's good." Dan said. "Good." Nikki said changing the subject."So...Chinese for dinner tonight." Rufus said wrapping his arm around Jenny into a side hug. Nikki started to walk beside them. Until she realized that her brother wasn't following behind. She turns around to see him staring at the blonde girl, better known as his crush Serena Van Der Woodsen. "Dan!" She called gaining his attention. Causing for him to catch up with his family.

DURING DINNER everyone was laughing and having a good time. Up until Nikki got a text message. She picks up the phone to see the name of the person who she's currently ignoring. She reads
I miss you.
Then quickly puts the phone down. Only for the phone to start ringing gaining everyone at the tables attention. "Who is it?" Rufus asked. "No one important." She lied, as the phone stops ringing.
Once diner was over, Nikki was in her room, laid on her stomach, on her bed the phone starts ringing again. And it hasn't stop. After 2 more missed calls, she finally answers. "What do you want?" She said rudely.
"I just want to talk." He tried to reason.
"Well, I don't." She lied. She missed him.
"Please." The person on the other line begged.
She doesn't respond. There was a moment of silence.
"Well if you do decide you want to talk. You know where to find me."
He paused again, to see if he was gonna get a response...He didn't. "I love you." He said before ending the phone call.
