"Aria, tomorrow you'll be going back to school," My mom says as she pours syrup on my pancakes.

"Mom, what if I don't remember anything.." I trail off.

"Honey, I think it will all soon come to mind. I think you'll remember your school work, but you never know," She sighs. She hands me my pancakes and a cup of orange juice. "Can I have a fork please?" I ask her.

She hands me a fork and I thank her. I start eating. Thinking, thinking about how it's even possible I don't remember anything. Do I still know I how to drive? Will I remember my ways around school? My teachers names? School work itself? I don't know. What did I do to deserve this? It's like a curse. A curse I can't break. And when I think, and try to remember, I can't. My mind is a whole universe, full of blackness.

The most thing I'm thankful about this situation is my "new" friends and family will try anything to get my memory back. I'm so so thankful to have such amazing people in my life.

I finish my pancakes and orange juice, I put them in the sink and walk back upstairs to my bedroom. I put on black leggings and a cute black crop top. I brush through my dark black hair, wondering when I'll see my friends again. It was fun listening them to describe the fun times we had together, only if I remember...

I walk out of my room to find my mom, "Mom?"

"Yes?" She yells from her room. I walk to her room and sit on the bed with her, "Can you do a braid in my hair?"

She nods, making me turn around. "I remember you always made me do your hair.. I miss it. French braid or regular?"

"French braid please.." I say silently. She chuckles to herself, "That's your favorite, when you were fifteen you finally figured out how to do it on your own, I have rarely done your hair since."

I stay silent. I mean, I like hearing about the pass, don't get me wrong. But it makes me sad sometimes.

She finishes, "Thank you, mom."

"No problem sweetie," She says, and I walk out of the room. I hear someone knock on the door so I go down stairs and answer it.

I go on my tippy toes, looking through the peep hole. I slightly smile to myself when I see Jack holding a bouquet of beautiful red ruby roses.

I open the door to see a bright smiling Jack. "Hey Jack," I smile.

"Hey, beautiful," He smiles at me. I open the door wider, letting him inside. He hands me the bouquet of roses, "For you."

"Thank you, Jack." I take them, walking into the kitchen, I look for a flower vase. Finding one, I fill it up with water and gently place the flowers in the vase. "They are very beautiful Jack, thank you, again."

"Anything for you, beautiful," He smiles, taking a seat on the bar stool. I sit next to him, "So, what's up?" I ask him. "I was wondering if you wanted to go get some frozen yogurt with me and our group."

"I'd love too," I say smiling. Yes!! I get to hang out with my friends again. "But before we go can I go get shoes on?"

He chuckles, "Of course, Aria." I rush upstairs, slipping on white converses, and grabbing my phone. Before I walk down stairs I run into my moms room, "Hey mom, I'm going to a frozen yogurt place with Jack and my friends. Is that alright?" I ask, rising up on my tippy toes and going back down. "Yes Aria, that's fine. Text me if you need anything hun. Love you," She says,
folding clothes.

"Thank you mom!! Love you too."

I walk back downstairs, Jack sits on the bar stool playing on his phone, he looks up at me and says, "Okay, let's go Aria."
