The weirdest thing happened to me today. I was walking to my mom's house when I realized somebody was following me. When I looked behind me nobody was there, but I knew he was. I turned the corner to find him standing right in front of me. I screamed but then he covered my mouth with a tight grip. This is when I realized he wasn't like any human I know, He had long gold hair with gold eyes that shined like stars. When I finally stopped daydreaming I realized he had let go of me. When I finally tried to ask him why he was following me he put his finger to my mouth with the softest touch. He pulled out a weird silver electronic. It looked like some kind of cell phone. I heard him say in a low whisper was that he had found me and bringing me somewhere. When I heard him say that I started to run, but he cached me in a millisecond. I wondered how he ran so fast, but before I knew it I was waking up in a large building that looked like a church. The roofs were high and had stained glass covering the windows. I was wondering where am I until the same boy who had been following me. I noticed that he had tattoos all over him; they weren’t normal tattoos. They looked like a bunch of random lines put together. I realized that there was a man standing right in front of me. He had grey hair with a mustache. He looked pretty old, like around 60-70 years old. Then he sat down right next to me, I was wondering why had that boy taken me and were am I but I said nothing. The man then started to talk, "My name is Hodge. I run the Institute and I teach Shadowhunters here". I was wondering what the heck are Shadowhunter's and why am I here? Finally I started to speak, "What are Shadowhunters and why am I here right now"? Then Hodge started talking to the boy who had brought me here. All I could out of their mumbling was "how could you bring her here" and "You shouldn't of done that Jace...” Was that the boy's name, Jace? Then I could hear something else, "You know se is special, you shouldn't have brought her here". Me... Special, I'm not special! I am Jessie Dase, born in Edmonton, Alberta by Dianna Elark and Issac Dase. I 'm not special; I'm any normal teenage girl. I go to school, live in a house and have friends. I'm pretty sure I'm normal. Maybe... I don't know now that I think of it. My parent's never tell me of my childhood or about their life before me. I don't know if I'm normal, maybe they have the wrong person. Maybe this was a mistake. Then Jace comes over to me. He sat down beside me and whispered in my ear. I felt shivers run down my body when I heard his cold, soft words enter my ear. He said to me "come visit me later tonight, I need to talk to you". First I'm the one who needs to talk to him because don't know where the hell am I. All of a sudden question's come flowing through my head. Will my mom come looking for me? Does she know about this stuff? Why hasn't she told me about my childhood? Then all of a sudden I feel a sharp pain to my head. A Ravener was attacking me, then started I feel a sharp pain in my shoulder’s that spread down to my arms. I screamed in pain trying to struggle out of its long talons. Then all I see is Jace on his knees beside me. He looked down at me with his perfect golden eyes and checked to see if I was okay, then he got to his feet and pulled out a silver object. It was shiny and I was pretty sure it was a dagger. Then he attacked the Ravener who had once been on me but now was destroying the room. He lashed at the creature and struck him right in his heart. The creature made a loud shrieking noise then fell to the ground. Then all of a sudden the creature was gone leaving a heavy gray substance behind. All I remembered next was Jace coming back to see me and whispering something to me. I was pretty sure he said, “Are you alright? That was one bad fall you took.” Then I feel a cool sensation to my arm, he was carving one of those tattoos onto my arm. All of a sudden all of my pain is gone. Jace pulls me up so close to his face that we could kiss if we wanted to. For a second there was an awkward silence then Jace leans closer to my face. One gesture to my mouth and I would kiss him, then I feel a bolt of sensation go through me. I realize Jace was kissing me. It wasn’t a short kiss that lasted only a few seconds but a kiss that felt like forever, a kiss that can make you feel like your in heaven. Then I realize that it wasn’t only just Jace kissing me but I was kissing Jace also.
