"I had the craziest dream last night!" said Larry, waking up and running to his five siblings.
"What was it about?" asked Hank.
"I was sucked into my phone and met a man called Professor X, who sent me to find 8 Love Crystals with 4 strange girls. To put a long story short, we succeeded." explained Larry.
"I also had a dream!" said Hank. "I dreamed I was paralyzed by a strange lady and tasked with finding 5 keys."
"We also had dreams!" said everyone else. They described their dreams to Larry and Hank.
"Anyone noticing a strange connection with all of our dreams?" asked Hank.
"In those dreams we all had to collect some m objects which progressively opened up more items and were used in the final fight. And in those dreams, we had separate families."
"And those families were bad. Could this be a coincidence?" asked Larry.
"While probably a coincidence, I think it isn't at the same thing." said Thomas.
"It's almost as if the dreams are prepping us for something much larger than what're we used to," theorized Arthur.
"I agree, but what is the more intriguing question." said Gary.

A voice broke out.

"Release me! Release me at once!" The voice spoke, seemingly from nowhere.

Suddenly, a wave of energy coursed through everyone as a figure trapped in a magical barrier appeared, floating several feet above the siblings.

Immediately, Larry recognized the figure as non-other than his older sister Mavis.
She was wearing a red dress with a pink sash, and a ruby red ribbon tied on top of her
seemingly delicate light pink hair. Everyone knew that Mavis was not a force to be reckoned with, despite her dainty appearance, and if the incredibly unamused look on her face was an indication of anything, it was that the person responsible for this event was in for an unpleasant experience once she found a way out.

The barrier shifted to the right a few feet to make way for the next person that entered the room. This new arrival was somebody no one in the room had met before.
It was a young boy, floating in mid air.
He looked down upon his audience. "I'm afraid your dearest little sister has been taken by me, the hacker Chi." He spoke.
"You kidnapped my sister?" spoke Larry.
"She's not gonna be happy when she gets out of that barrier you've trapped her in."
"Why have you done this?!" blurted out Gary.

"This is my Super Special Barrier." spoke Chi. "It's used by evil people seeking to glean information from others. I've kidnapped Mavis as we believe that she knows the whereabouts of the mysterious Dream Egg."
"What's the Dream Egg?" asked Larry.
"It's an egg that protects all the good dreams in the world. The egg's whereabouts are unknown. Or were unknown, until today! I, Alter Ego and Nanami - my two advisors-suspect that Lady Mavis knows the mysterious location of this egg. So we've stolen her for a purpose."

"And......what will be our role in all that?" Larry fearfully asked.
"We'll tell you when the time is right. But for you, we've set you this task. Collect 6 dolls. Otherwise..."
"What?" asked Cody.
"I'll destroy it, and bad dreams will replace the icky sweet dreams you all have!" said Chi.
He then teleported out with Mavis.
"We have to collect six dolls or we'll all have bad dreams!" said Cody.

"I have a feeling that we'll be in for yet another scavenger hunt, like in our dreams." said Hank.

"Finding eight stars was hard enough," Larry muttered. "Never mind six dolls."
The six children stepped outside the door.

Thus, the journey of the six boys began...

"Unveiling my latest invention!" said Chi, unfurling a curtain and revealing an arcade machine.
"The Machine of Unused Data! When the heroes arrive here, I'll use the machine and trap them in an 8-bit side scrolling game. In the game I've made, the heroes will have unlimited lives.  Meaning that they're unable to die. No matter how much they'll beg for death, it'll never come.  They'll never escape! I've also programmed in their fears and everything they dislike!"
"Mmm," thought Nanami. "It seems we need to do something special now to that interfering little sister. We've already kidnapped her."
"True," said Alter Ego. "What should we do with her? Chi, can you suggest something?"
"Well," said Chi. "She must be deeply heartbroken. Which is why I've decided to let myself leave this girl with a little parting gift to make sure her siblings get the message. I won't hurt her," Under his breath he added. "Much.
Nanami, get out the Brainwashing Machine!"
Nanami unfurled another curtain, revealing another machine - The Brainwashing Machine.
In front of it was Mavis.
Nanami got ready to fire it.
"Larry?!" asked Mavis.
And that's when Chi told her:
"Every Gem is made for a purpose: to serve the order of the Ultimate Hacked. Those who cannot fit inside this order must be purged!"
What a cliffhanger!
