Months had passed and no one had heard or seen of the girl the trio bullied. Everyone came to a conclusion she had passed on, surprisingly very few felt guilty for her 'death'. In reality, however, she wasn't dead. Merely becoming a better her.

She had ran off to a place called hypixel.

A mean place with thieves and criminals everywhere you looked. A place where people bet on the lives of others and sometimes even defenceless animals. Hypixel had backstabbing warriors who battled it out infront of huge crowds, simply for a place on a leaderboard.

Was the girl interested in the battles? Who wouldn't. Did she sign up? You bet she did.

Within a few months of countless fails and many injuries the girl has won her first sword fight. She had pinned the girl to the ground, blade at the girls neck. They stayed like that until the buzzer rang and she was declared the winner. Ever sense then she's only improved. She got faster, stronger and she was most of all feared at hypixel. She grew so fast she was having a hard time finder opponents.

On her two year anniversary of running away, she woke to find herself second on the leaderboard. Right below someone who was practically invisible in crowds. She had over heard people talk about him, how he only comes out to defend his title once a month. Lucky for her, today was that day.

Akira walked down the stone path of hypixel, the eyes of old men and filthy criminals falling onto her when her boots clicked against the hard path. She pulled her dull red mask up further, so it was covering her nose and just under her eyes before turning to the great hall. She walked in with a confident stride and spared a glance at the leaderboard, she was second. All she needed to do was get first and she had finished her one goal she had set.

She took note of the person at top and smiled. A name she hadn't heard for quite sometime, a myth where she had came from.

Akira didn't spare a second thought to the leaderboard and walked over to the event coordinator, grabbing his attention when she came to a stop in front of him. "Technoblade?" He raised a brow, looking the girl up and down. She shook her head confused at the question. The man huffed, annoyed at the girls lack of intelligence to pick up on his signs. "Are you looking for Technoblade? To fight." He said much clearer. Akira nodded and the man told her to follow.

The man led her down a hall, behind a book shelf and into a dark room. "Walk over there, pull that lever and you'll be taken to him. He's been expecting you and has gathered quite the crowd" the man said, pointing to a lever that was barely visible in the dark environment. She thanked him and he left, letting the girl get ready.

Akira tightened her boots, belt and mask before making sure her weapons were attached. She loaded her crossbow and placed her axe comfortably on her hip. She had heard of Technoblade's fights, he was more of a close combat fighter, rather than projectile. She spared one last look around the room, her eyes landing on a silver glow. The tiniest bit of light was reflecting off of a shield, she picked it up and jumped into the box by the lever. She swallowed her nervous and pulled it.

Instantly she felt the ground beneath her move, feeling herself rise and the light slowly brighten. When she got to the top and the lift stopped, Akira was blinded by the light, but walked out blindly anyway. Once her eyes adjusted, she found herself in a flat dirt arena with thousands of people surrounding them in high placed seats. Looking down on the only two people in the ring.

Akira's eyes stopped on Technoblade, who was standing across from her on the other side of the arena. He had a long pink braid, royal styled clothes and a pink pig mask covering the top half of his face. She looked over his weapons next and saw Technoblade had the same things as her, but a sword instead of an axe. She silently criticised his choice and wondered deep down if it was the right choice or not.

He raises his hand in a fist and a green flag drops behind him, the crowd cheers wildly. Akira copied him and heard a flag drop behind herself, guessing that was the starting signal she pulled her crossbow, taking a shot at the pink man infront of her. He pulled his shield out and waited for the arrow to collide. In the meantime Akira was able to gain ground.

What she didn't expect when she was in hitting range of Technoblade, was for him to pull his crossbow out and fire right back. The arrow pierced her shoulder and Technoblade didn't spare a second pushing her to the ground.

Akira kicked the mans groin and smiled as he fell off of her. She got to her feet and gave the two distance, giving herself time to remove the arrow and throw it to the ground, and giving him time to recover.

When Technoblade got to his feet he gripped his sword tighter and threw the crossbow away. Akira copied him, not wanting to be called out for it being an unfair fight later. The two charged at each other, Technoblade aiming for a side hit when they got in range of each other. She was able to turn and block his hit with her axe, but unlucky for her it was at an awkward position for her arms, straining them. Technoblade pulled his sword back and attacked straight down, Akira barely managed to block his hit. Their two weapons being held right above her head.

The two pushed onto each other's weapons, trying to dominate and win the fight. Akira was losing, the awkward way she was holding her axe and the way she was positioned, she had no chance at winning unless she could do something else. She spared a look at Technoblade himself and felt an idea spark. She stepped forward and swung her leg behind his own, shoving her body weight into him and knocking him to the ground. In a moment of weakness Technoblade's grip came loose and his sword slid along the dirt out of his reach.

Akira held her sword at his neck and the arena went silent. All the two could hear was their own heavy breathing, waiting for the fight to be called. When it did the crowd erupted, Akira took her sword away from his neck and took a step back. Watching thousands of people cheer for her.

Technoblade got to his feet and huffed, placing his sword back into place and brushing himself off. "You fight well" he said offering her a hand. She grabbed it and shook it gladly.

Akira had to hold her excitement back while she approached the leaderboard. She didn't want to seem too childish in front of these sort of people. Her eyes widened when she saw her name get bumped up to first and Technoblade take her spot as second. She bit down on her knuckle to avoid looking happy and walked calmly out of the hall.

Once out, Akira broke into a run towards her small hut in the woods. She watched people stare, judging her but she didn't care, she was number one. She brushed through the trees and didn't care when a branch slapped into her face, barely feeling it due to the excitement bubbling. She ran straight into her house and slammed the door behind her. Screaming into her hands as she did so. She only sat there for a few seconds before her smile grew and she bolted to pack her things. She had completed her goal, she could see her friends again.

She packed clothes, food, weapons and very few essentials. She picked up her saddle and walked out her front door, using her foot to shut it behind herself. Akira walk around her house and was welcomed by her horse. She saddled up and in no time she was heading off home. A few hours at this pace and she would be able to see her friends.
