you sighed as you walked into your house putting your bag on the couch and running upstairs to find maya the same place you saw her last, reading.

i wish my life could as peaceful as hers.

it took her a few seconds to notice her, maybe she was just finishing a paragraph in her book.

" so, how'd it go? " maya turned all of her attention to you, closing her book.
