"I don't know about this Halloween party Girlfriend."

Boyfriend and Girlfriend were talking up to a creepy mansion on a hill. Boyfriend had finally been accepted (sort of) into Girlfriend's family and had been invited to their Halloween party. Apparently they owned some creepy mansion near a neighborhood, which seemed a little odd, but then again, what about their adventure wasn't odd?

"Why's that?", Girlfriend asked as she looked at Boyfriend and tilted her head. "Well, do you really think they accept me? I mean, didn't they just 'accept me' into their family three days ago? It's late and I don't really want to deal with anymore shenanigans", he said as he yawned and stretched his arms before hearing a loud crack of thunder. "BEEP! ALSO IT'S THUNDERING-!", he said fearfully.

Girlfriend shuddered a bit at the thunder, but sighed and put her hand on Boyfriend's head. "I know...But don't worry! Let's give them the benefit of the doubt! A-And maybe it'll stop thundering soon! Hopefully", she said as they approached the house. Boyfriend sighed a bit and knocked on the door before entering. There a small noise and a thud. Next thing he knew, he was soaking wet. "B-Beep!"

"Ah! I see you found one of our tricks!~", a voice said as Mommy Mearest walked towards them with a bowl of candy. Boyfriend groaned a bit before sighing and putting on a smile. "Pretty funny, Mrs. Mearest!", he said as he walked in with Girlfriend. "Glad you like it! Cause there are many more surprises around the corner! So watch your back mister~", she said a bit darkly before looking at Girlfriend. Oh great. This was going to be a day.

30 minutes into the party and Boyfriend had been the victim of a lot of pranks and tricks. Spiders in his drink, rubber snakes in cabinets and strange writing on mirrors. It didn't really scare him. It more like surprised or annoyed him, but Girlfriend's parents seemed just as satisfied. Especially when the thunder struck and they could tease him about it.

"Really? A grown man like you is scared of a little lightning?~"

"Well, he is just a little baby man!~"

Boyfriend muttered a few angry 'beep bops' at those remarks. Being scared of thunder/lightning was perfectly acceptable! He could make a whole article about how lighting and thunder were way better jumpscares than any axe murderer! Either way, the party itself was kinda dull in his opinion. No-one else was there except them so Boyfriend just assumed this party was made to prank him over and over again. But then something happened.

"Trick or Treat!", he heard from the door before hearing two knocks. Who could be trick or treating all the way out here? Boyfriend shrugged and opened the door as he looked down to see two small children. They looked to be 7-8 years old. One was dressed as a skeleton and one was a small pumpkin character wearing a black suit. They were kinda cute! "Oh hello there kiddos! Let me see if we have some candy for you two!"

"It's okay! We're looking for a candy called Girlfriend!", a skeleton boy said. Boyfriend blinked. "...Boop?", Boyfriend responded as he gave a blank stare at the two. "Yeah! Our friend really wants a candy called Girlfriend and they said you give that out here! It looks like this!", the pumpkin boy said as he showed Boyfriend a poorly drawn picture of Girlfriend. "Do you have that here?"

"Uhhhh...well-!"

"Babe? Who was at the door?", Girlfriend said as she walked up to him and peeked outside. "Awwww! Hello you two! Sorry, we don't have any candy, but-!", she started as the boys tilted their heads. "Is that the candy?", one asked as the other looked at him. "It's such a big piece of candy! Like no candy I've ever seen! I think that's the candy though!"
