I Fell For Him

Missing

I had finally reached the house as i knocked on the door.  Two knocks and a foot stomp followed by four more knocks, our secret door knock.  If you heard this door knock you knew it was us.  You’d think if you lived in this house you could come right in or use the keys. Well, we use the keys only after we use the door code, because we are all runaways.  Ronnie and i ran away when we were 16. Kat and Jacky 15 Ryan, Ron and Derek housed us. They had already been living by themselves.  I don’t really know why they had already been living by themselves, but i felt like asking them one day.  I looked at the peep hole to see Ronnie’s brown eye look throw it as he cracked the down open to allow me to quickly slide through the door just as fast as i shut it.

“Babe” Ronnie said hugging me tightly “God, i was worried about you.”“Where’s Jacky” i said remembering my anger.  Ronnie gulped.  “Well, there’s a problem” i pushed Ronnie away from me a little bit as i looked at him.  “What do you mean ‘ there is a problem’“ i shouted.  I noticed Jacky coming out of the back room. I felt my temper boiling up again.  My mind was racing and my heart was pounding.  I knew Ryan and Ron had been arrested and thrown in the cop car so i knew that they weren’t going to be here.  Derek was sitting on the couch.  The only person i didn’t see was my sister Katelyn. “Where’s my sister?” i said turning my attention back to Ronnie and Jacky.  I moved towards Jacky as i balled my fist up, I’m going to ask one more time. ”Where the fuck is my sister?”“I-i don’t know” Jacky finally spoke in a stutter.  “You DON’T fucking know?” I shouted.  I lunged for Jacky as Ronnie grabbed and held me to his chest.  Kicking, screaming, and scratching at his arms i did everything in my power to get at Jacky’s throat.  “How could you?  She’s fucking pregnant and probably scared shitless.  Out on her own” i shouted as i pushed Ronnie off of me and walked past them and out the door.  “Wait Greed, you’ll get caught”  “It’s not safe,” they both shouted.  “ I can’t believe this,” i thought.  I raced through dead plants and molded trash.  I wasn’t going to let my sister go through such pain and sorrow all by her self. 

Her and i had been through so much shit together.  I worried about her so much. I ran right into the street not realizing an on going car as i come to realize the loud car screech, avoiding a huge care accident i dodged the taxi.  In rage i flipped him off shouting over my shoulder as i kept running.
