david rossi, hotch x reader

Part 13

i grab some of the wine that was being stored for tonight, grabbing the wine glasses and helping aaron set the table, placing, the wine bottle in the pitcher filled with ice, turning to rossi and asking if he needs help, receiving a smile and a light peck, shaking his head he shoos me away, i hear a light knock on the door as i walk to get a couple board games out. turning to open the door seeing a pretty blonde with a blonde little boy.

???:  hello, is aaron here? he asked me to bring jack down

abbie: ohh you must be Jessica? right?

she smiles and nods, looking down at the little boy. 

abbie: and you must be jack, right?

i smile and reach my hand out for him to shake. he looks at my hand and reaches out, gripping my hand in his small one. 

jack: yeah that's me, are you the pretty girl my dad was talking about? the one thats going to be staying with him and uncle rossi?

abbie: yeah buddy, thats me, your just as cute as your dad said, you wanna come see him, i think he's in the dinning room hun.

i smile, seeing him run threw, putting his bag in the entry, running into see his dad. i look back up at the girl i now know as jessica. smiling and sticking my hand out to shake hers, her shaking my hand as well.

abbie: hey, my names abbie, you may have been told by aaron, i'm dating both him and dave.

she smiles nodding as well.

jessica: it's so nice to meet you, aaron told me he was happy so as long as he's happy and jacks safe thats all i really care about. 

i smile, glancing back to see aaron carrying jack over, a massive smile on his face, he comes over wrapping his arm around my waist, kissing my forehead and looking back up at jessica.

aaron: hey jess, how was he?

jess: he was great, he had a lot of fun as well, he was really exited to meet abbie, which he called the pretty girl. 

i smile looking up at the both of them smiling.

abbie: do you want to come in, we're having a team dinner, i'm sure there's enough room for one more.

she smiles shaking her head, saying that she has to go as she has a couple friends coming by, smiling, we all say good-bye to her. we close the door again, aaron puts jack down and tells him to go get ready for a shower and to grab what he wants to wear, which he does running up the stairs. aaron looks down at me, smiling and giving me a kiss. we go off, making sure that everything was ready and that al the plates were filled. hearing three hard knocks on the door, jack stands up and runs over with aaron behind him, opening the door to see the rest of the team smiling at us, some with gifts in their hands, Penelope, mostly. we all smile, letting them into the house and they all  place their gifts on the table in the entry, walking further into the house, saying hello to rossi and talking amongst themselves, rossi telling everyone to sit down as he sets some bowls down onto the table, everyone serving themselves some, as i help jack get some of the food, getting him everything he wanted, grabbing him a small drink from the fridge along with one for henry and finally sitting down to grab some food for myself, feeling aaron and daves eyes on me as i turn to look at the both of them, smiling confusedly. aaron places his hand on my thigh, leaning into whisper in my ear, smiling himself.

aaron: you really are great with kids, maybe we'll have to give you some of your own soon, hm?

i blush lightly looking over at them,  smiling and leaning in to kiss his cheek. whispering in his ear before pulling away.

abbie: if you get me pregnant then both of you are taking time off to take care of me, or you switch out. but i think im more a fan of practicing making them, don't you agree?

he looks at me chuckling before leaning over to whisper what i said to dave, 

derek: ay, stop flirting with the bosses flake, there are kids here.

abbie: derek, we're not flirting, now stop trying to profile me, i see it in your eyes, and eat up, the food on your plate is getting cold, flirt with pen or something.

derek smiles at me, winking before turning and talking to penelope, her giggling at whatever he said, the rest of the table is filled with chatter. looking up i see spencer looking at me with a small little dr. reid smile. 

abbie: what's up, spence?

spencer: i can't believe your back, and your staying. i've missed you.

abbie: i missed you too spence but we'll have to take a holiday soon, go up and see your mum?

spencer: yeah, a little road trip back home. you're driving though.

i smile nodding my head before eating some of my food again, looking around at our little family, all happy, talking ,flirting and listening to each other, no cases was a definitely a benefit. 

after awhile of eating and talking, a couple glasses of wine or juice, the boys were over  playing in jacks room, while all of us sat in the living room, aaron dave and i were sitting on the floor, aaron was laying down on the floor with his head in my lap, dave was behind me leaning on the wall, with me in between them, raking my hands through aarons hair, with daves arms securely wrapped around my waist, warmth surrounding me. listening to everyone share storys of their ast, from spencer telling everyone what we got up to in college, to dave telling us about when he served time in the army. we were all at peace for once.
