Chapter 4

     1st Day With Avengers (Part -1)

Your room at the Tower was beautiful. It consist of a king size bed, one dresser , a makeup table , and a couch along with a small table.

You could see the whole New York City  through your balcony. 'What a beautiful view' you thought. After spending some minutes at your balcony you went to bathroom to get a shower.

Natasha had lend you some of her clothes which you found in one of the drawers of the dresser along with a note.

Hey (Y/N) !! I know you didn't get a chance to pack your things before you came here. But now that you're here, we can share the things which you need. I'm leaving here some dresses of mine which I believe will fit you in case you want to change. If you need anything else don't hesitate to tell me. Okay?

You smiled at the sweet note and went to take a shower. You closed your eyes when water was pouring down and slowly taking away all your tiredness.

Your mind was wondering around all the things that had happened in the past few days. The thought of your family's murderer leaves you breathless every time.

Tears started flowing down your cheeks as you thought about that day of your family vacation where you and Emily lost everything. There was anger in your heart, which you never got a chance to take out.

Suddenly your mind struck on Emily. You didn't talk to her after the last mission. Some kind of fear started clouding around you. You stopped the shower and changed quickly into one of the dresses that Natasha had lent you. 

You were trying to think out some ways to contact your sister. Tears were still flowing down from  your eyes when you heard a knock at your door.

You wept your tears and unlocked the door to find Steve was standing out there. You rememberd that he told you he will come to take you for breakfast.

He spotted the traces of tears down your cheeks. "Is everything alright ??" he asked immediately tensed up.

"Ya! Everything is fine."you told him as you didn't wanna share this stuffs in your mind with him or let's just say that you didn't trust him enough to tell him what was the problem. 

"But it doesn't seem like you are alright !! What's the matter??" You wanted to get help but you didn't wanna tell him.

 "Yes! Everything is fine. You don't have to worry about me. I'm alright." You tried to escape his glance at you. You let him enter your room.

He knew there was a problem but he thought it won't be fair to force you to open up.

So he letting go the matter tried to distract you. "It's okay if you don't want to share, but you know you can talk to me if you want." you nodded. 

"Anyways, I brought you a phone. I thought you would like to talk with your sister." Your eyes widen at his words. 

"How - how do you know about my sister??" you asked in complete shock. "Fury told us about her. You--" before he could continue you cut him off. "What else do you know??" your anger was sensible. 

 "Listen (Y/N)!! don't worry!! Fury just told us about the things which are necessary for us to know." he tried to console you .

"We are here to protect you and so we must protect those who are important to you as well. Fury just told us that you have a sister who reads in Columbia University and stays in a hostel." he continued.
