Vikram's POV:

Hearing the sound of my alarm, I woke up from my slumber. I glanced at the clock to see it's already 6:30 am.

I am half hour late than usual. Wow!

I then proceeded to washroom and did my morning business. I wore my workout clothes and went to the indoor gym of my home to see my baby brother on treadmill.

I greeted him and he greeted me back

I greeted him and he greeted me back. I then went towards weights and started my exercise.

''Annayya!  You need to hear this!'' Vishal started.

''What happened baby brother??''
I asked using his nick name.

He glared at me but, said ''Dad and Mom are talking about your marriage''

He dropped the bomb and I dropped the weights.

I shouted making sure that the whole freaking mansion can hear me, ''What?''

''Oh my poor ears!'' exclaimed Vishal.

I again lifted my weights and said, ''How can they do this? I already said to them that I am not ready for marriage yaar!''

Vishal said, ''Annayya! Relax. Don't worry. Mom and Dad will choose the correct pair for you''

''Vishal! That's not the problem. I am not ready for the responsibilities that come with marriage'' I expressed my worry to him.

''Annayya! While becoming police officer, you were ready to take responsibility of  it because it's your dream. Even now, take responsibility of the person who comes in your life in the same way'' Vishal said.

I didn't reply to him as I am busy in my own thoughts. His words did make sense but, am I really ready is the original issue.

After exercising for nearly 1 and half hour, we returned to our rooms and got ready for the day.

I wore my uniform

I wore my uniform. It always gives me a sense of pride and sincerity. I never neglected my duties. It can be as a son, a brother, a friend or a police officer.
