Josh's outfit was skin tight ripped jeans and a crop stop shirt. Josh didn't want to hurt Emilys feelings, however he did not have shaved legs or did he want to wear just as tight pants. So after receiving the outfit Josh simply told Emily he didn't have shaved legs. (And he hoped he never would)

Emily told him to try the outfit on and to see what she can do. Josh obliged, and once done he walked out, where Emily didn't seem nearly as concerned as him. Emily reassured him "doont worry you clearly shaved your legs recently (she then got closer to his legs) i mean i can barely see the hair on your legs." As if Josh's last bastions of masculinity was shattered Josh just said "cool" and they started making preparations to go back to school.
For some reason josh thought his leg hair the most masculine thing about him, and when that conception was shattered, it made Josh want to cry.
The rest of his day went fine, however he was expected to walk home, and more than that change out of everything behind his mothers back.
After about 15 minutes Josh was home, dressed like a girl, and with the gym outfit he'd worn in his backpack. Josh's plan was to open the front door and bolt to his room. A so stupid it might work plan, but Josh was no hero. When he opened the door his mom was standing there, she'd decided to wait to make sure he'd got home safely, because it took longer for him to walk than she'd thought.
She asked him what he was wearing, and beat down by compliance everywhere else, Josh unloaded on her saying it was her fault, everyone thought he was a girl, of course he shouldn't wear girls jeans to school.
His mom sighed, and he went up to his room finally getting to take the clothes off. He got dressed, and his mom asked him to come to the kitchen. She sternly told him that it was not her fault this had happened and to tell her the whole story. Josh did and his mom told him that they would move again in 6 months for work, so he should just stick it out as Jade. Josh was almost relieved to hear at least he wouldn't be a girl for the rest of school.
His mom then told him to get in the car he asked why and she told him that he needed a wardrobe. Josh was already exhausted and wanted to go to bed, so he asked if he gave her his sizes if she could just grab things. She said fine, but she grabbed a measuring thingy and wrapped it around his body and such, when she was done Josh went to bed
