Vanessa ran through the tall grass of the meadow chasing the kitten. Soon enough she caught the kitten as the orange solar flare hit the meadow. Once it hit her she fell to the ground still holding the cat. After five minutes she opened her eyes and sat up crying. After a few more minutes she stood up and ran to her mom and dad holding the kitten.

Vanessa looked at the people in black suits surrounding her and her cat. The seven year old looked back at where her mom and dad laid on the ground, blood surrounding them. She was shoved into a car and told to shut up and stay still. After a few hours of driving she was brought to a building and met with a tall lady who watched her and the cat. After almost a hour she was put into a white metal room.
