(warning: mentions of alchohol, drugs, death, blood and incoherent words)

"dude she passed out"

jungkook chuckled, staring at her half-sister, apparently.

"what a fcking weak girl. pathetic. good thing she's an easy target am i right?" the tattooed man slid his tongue against his tiny lower lip

"true. what do you wanna do with her anyways?" taehyung nodded his head towards the unconscious girl

"kill her? don't want another wincox blood breathing around me" jungkook chucked the gun he was playing with on the table beside him as he walked out of the room

brushing past by taehyung's shoulder who stood by the door frame, jungkook lit up a roll and inhaled a puff from it.

taehyung mindlessly stare at the haerin, her head drooping down from her sitting position. he let out an exasperated sigh before turning his head to look at the younger man

taehyung has always been jungkook's bestfriend, the second hand. he joined the gang when jungkook introduced him to the smuggling world. sure they receive tons of money but the downside of it is having to leave their normal life, including their family and loved ones. it was a hard decision for taehyung but the drugs already got into his senses.

the gang smuggling business already ate his whole persona and changed him into a different person. with the influence and exposure to different substances, he hit rock bottom.

lee miyong. a girl he once loved. an innocent woman, soft and fragile, bright smile and kind heart. if she were to compare with something, it would be a flower on top of a hill. blooming and at peace.

however, life does not always allow us to have the best things in life. or at least in taehyung's case.

his mind went dark, pure anger is all that he feels and his mind told him to hurt someone. his gaze darted to the fearful girl infront of her, eyes full of heavy tears, and fuzzy sounds of her pleads.

the next thing he knew was seeing red splatters on his hands as he leaned on a brick wall. hiding from the blue and red sirens and running men who's chasing him.

taehyung shuddered at the memory that still lingers on his mind. he killed miyong. his girlfriend.

he has always considered the thought of leaving the gang but his life will be at risk. and besides, he has no one to go home to, his family disregarded him.

"don't kill her yet"

jungkook raised an eyebrow at his best friend's statement.

"wait for her to regain consciousness at least, it wouldn't be fun if you kill her now"

taehyung answered while walking towards jungkook who's clearly high from the weed he smoked

taehyung glanced at the girl again before guiding his intoxicated friend out of the room.

"i won't let another innocent person to suffer the same way you did miyong. i hope you forgive me" taehyung thought

"there i found their base" haechan announced to the group

"where's the location?" jaehyun was the first one to stand up followed by taeyong

"it's at hybe's wine warehouse. not far away from here" the youngest pointed at the map on the screen

"alright gather around, everyone" taeyong leads

"tonight, after the sunset, we'll head out. haechan, jaemin, jungwoo, and shotaro, and ten, you guys are in charge on the tracking. got it?"

the five of them gathered around with their laptops and tracking devices "got it boss"

"taeil, yuta, mark, sungchan, chenle, doyoung are the look outs. 3 of you will guard on the top deck and the other 3 will guard the entrance and exits."

"got it" the group nodded

"and the rest, be prepared and get your guns loaded"

"should i call wayv for backup?" ten suggested in whish taeyong approved

"nice, the more the merrier" ten pumps his fist in the air before getting his phone to call his members

"yo bitches wake up, we have a mission" he said through the phone, as johnny gave him a proud high five

as the boys became busy, jaehyun couldn't help but to feel nervous and scared at the same time. he wouldn't forgive himself if something bad happens to haerin.

he sat on one of the chairs in the weapon room, loading a his gun. the first gun he received once he entered gang. the metal weapon took lots of lives already but it meant nothing to him but thinking about using it on the person who'd hurt haerin sounds rather enticing to him.

"jaehyun? you good bro?" taeyong entered the room after noticing the missing presence of his bestfriend

jaehyun bitterly chuckled at his question, "what do you think?"

"i completely understand what you're feeling right now, it's okay" taeyong was cut off with a scoff

"as if"

"i lost a sister jaehyun. i don't want you to lose someone you love too" taeyong swallowed the lump that formed in his throat as he stared blankly at the younger guy

"i'm sorry hyung. i didn't mean it that way" jaehyun placed the gun down and faced the blonde man

"s'okay, i'm still not over her loss i guess" taeyong shrugs

"you have every right to hyung, she's you're sister. nothing can ever bring miyong back to life"

"i hope she's doing well now."

silence filled the place as one of them spoke a word after.

"jaehyun-ah, you're my bestfriend" taeyong broke the silence afterwards

"i am willing to help you in getting haerin back, she's your life now and i won't let them take her away from you... just like what they did to miyoung" he sniffled "she's a nice girl, kinda reminds me of my sister not gonna lie"

"thanks hyung, don't worry, we'll give justice to miyong after all this. we got this" jaehyun stood up amd gave taeyong a pat on the shoulder

"we got this"

"what can i say? neo got my back"

they both chuckle at the memory of their old chant that they used to repeat during their gang initiation days. where their friendship grew.

so this chapter focuses on the background story of lee miyong, taeyong's younger sister and taehyung's late girlfriend.

yes taehyung k worded her while being high on drugs, that's why him and taeyong have bad blood between them.

this chapter also introduced taehyung's character, it's not much but i hope it's enough to show his importance on this story hehe

i'm also planning on rewriting the first few chapters bc i feel like they're not well connected to each other ㅠㅠㅠ

pls do vote and comment, i appreciate reading your thoughts.
