(Amber's P.O.V)
It was pouring rain as I ran quickly to my destination.
"AMBER WAIT !" I heard someone scream. I turned to see a soaking wet Cory Monteith facing me, with tears streaming down his face.
"How could you," I yelled, starting to cry. He came closer, but I pushed him away.
"Don't you EVER touch me again. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME." I screamed. A look of pure pain washed over him. I just started to run again.
He cheated.
He cheated.
He cheated.
I called Chris. He's been my bestfriend for as long as I remember. He always gave me advice when it came to me and Cory. It hurt to even say or think his name .... He was the first guy I had ever loved and he cheated on me.
"Chris." I said, still running.
"Sweetheart, your crying. What happened?" He asked, sounding worried.
"Just meet me at the airport." I said, hanging up and running as fast as I could.
When I finally make it to the airport, I was soaked. I ran into Chris' arms. He was waiting at the gate to take me home with two tickets in his hand.
"Here." He said, handing me sweatpants and a t-shirt. "Go change, Ambs." I did so, too tired to argue. After I got done changing I walked back to the gate to see everyone already had boarded the plane. Including Chris. Crap. I ran down the boarding pass straight into something.
Or someone.
"Amber." Cory exhaled. "Oh my god, I thought you already boarded the plane." He was soaked and looked awful. His eyes were red and puffy, his knuckles swollen and he had tear marks.
"I'm about to." I answered, trying to push past, he wouldn't let me.
"Hear me out." He pleaded.
"Fine," I scowled "You have three minutes."
"Amber, I made a huge mistake. I made the biggest and worst mistake of my life and I'm so sorry," He said. "But I'm not perfect. I don't have an excuse, but I'm asking for your forgiveness anyways. I love you so much. I couldn't live without you...." He teared up. I could see the sorrow in his eyes.
"Cory," I asked.
"Y...yes," He answered, still holding back tears. He looked like he lost all hope. He looked like his heart just broke. That killed me to see him like that.
I came closer to him, pushing my lips on his. He seemed startled at first but then I could feel him smile. I kissed him and fireworks explode inside of me.
"Amber, I love you so much," He whispered, putting his lips back on mine.
"Get a room," I heard someone say and I turned to see Chris smiling triumphantly. I let out a small giggle as Cory interlocked fingers with me.
"I promise to never hurt you again. On one condition," Cory whispered causing me to look at him.
"You marry me." He kissed my forehead.
"I promise to marry you. On one condition," I whispered back, staring into his eyes.
"You never hurt me again." I mumbled.
He smiled as he whispered,"deal."
