It all started with tears as I walked down the halls of the beautiful palace of decrain, I didn't want this, I didn't want to get married to a man I don't know and I have never even met.
My name is hazel rell, I am eighteen years old, I'm a daughter of a baker and I live in a small town in decrian. it was a day like any other, I woke and did my daily chores before heading to the living room to meet my parents we planned our day and just as we were about to set out we heard noises coming from the town, the prince of decrian was choosing a queen and he chose me and now here I am getting married to a prince. I weep as the maids dresses me up to met my future husband, "my lady, please stop crying, I'm sure the prince will treat you well". said the maid. To be honest I wasn't crying because I was getting married but rather because of the fact that my own parents didn't even try to stop him, they just gave me to him and requested for money in return, that's what brought tears to my eyes, I know me and my family are poor and we needed money but I didn't think they would sell me off so easily, I guess I met nothing to them. I cried even more, " you are ready my lady "; said the maid as she walked out of the large room; I stopped crying and looked at the huge room I sat in, never have I ever seen a room this big, it was bigger than my entire house, then I stared at my image in the mirror; I looked different.
My dirty blonde long hair was packed to the back and I had some heavy jewelries worn on my hair and on my neck, I wore a golden long flared gown and a light shoe, It was a little bit heavy but I could manage, I stared at my self lost in thoughts but they were interrupted by the sound of a knock on the door. " my lady the royal family is waiting for you please don't keep them waiting "said the maid, I knew it was time this is my fate whether I liked it or not, I stood up from my seat and walked out of the room and I walked through the long hallway till I finally reached the stair which I climbed down gentle my entire focus was on my steps I wanted to be careful so as not to fall, once I finally reached the last step I raised my gaze up and met the royal family setting elegantly on the long dinning, I walked towards an empty seat and sat down. I stared at every one and they stared right back at me, I didn't know what I was suppose to do so I just kept gazing at every one until my gaze stopped on a young man, prince Williams.
Prince Williams was breath taking, he had a short black silked hair and the deepest and most mischievous blues eyes I had ever seen, he stared right back at me he's gaze was intimidating and was drawing, it was so deep, I wanted to find out where it ends, he didn't take his eyes off me for a minute, his eyes scanned my body from my head to my toe but the moment broke when the queen spoke " what is your name? " she asked " hazel... Hazel rell " I said simply I was so uncomfortable talking to the queen like that. " hmmm... Hazel, she smiled I like it... What about you Williams? " Williams didn't outer a word, the queen chuckled " don't mind him, he's just shy ", Williams clenched his fist. The entertainer entertained us while we ate and talked a little. " what are you planing on showcasing to us? " Williams asked. It was the first time I heard him speak, his voice was deep and cold just like his gaze, " uh...? " I said " you know, it's tradition, a time will come where the entertainers will stop entertaining us and you will be the one to entertain us" raynell said, raynell, Williams sister, just like Williams she had a black silked hair but instead of blue she had silver eyes " um? " I said as I glanced around I became nervous I dont know what to perform, for starters I was a terrible singer and I can't play any instruments, I can't dance I stared at my food confused as I didn't know what to do, the only instrument I learnt how to play was a violin and I could only attend one lesson for my parents couldn't afford to pay for more tuition, I guess that's is the only thing I can do.
Soon the time came for me to perform, I sat on a chair in front of the hall where every one could see me and I was handed a violin, I was scared and nervous but the queen gave me an assuring smile and for some reason that really calmed me down, I started to play the instrument and I shot my eyes and got mesmerised by the sound.
Williams stared at hazel, she had impressed him with her beauty and her skilled playing, he couldn't help but smile, Williams hasn't smiled since he was ten years old but today he couldn't help it, this woman did things to him, a gasp escaped raynells mouth "Williams is smiling " I stopped my playing to see what was going on " honey " the queen hugged Williams " its been so long since I last that cute smile if yours "she said " that's enough mother" said Williams. Doesn't the prince smile? I wondered to my self before returning back to my seat, soon the ceremony was over and I was married to prince Williams.
At night in the couples chambers, hazel laid on the bed wearing nothing but a night gown and nothing underneath, Williams came out of the bathroom wearing a robe he gazed at her for some thing, hazel blushed. I guess this is the moment I lose my virginity, she sighed. " do you like the room " Williams asked, I nodded. What is this? why couldn't I respond?, " would you like to sleep alone " he asked while gazing into her eyes I didn't respond wasn't it the right of the husband to sleep with his wife " I will take your silence as a yes " he said removing his gaze from her, he walked towards the door " have a good night wife " he said then left. Wife I blushed by the word of that, no one had ever called me that before it made my heart skip by the sound of his words I wonder why he didn't sleep with me?
