I woke up by the sound of giggling and movement

I opened up my eyes to find that I'm on Oswald's lap, as snug as a bug in a rug

I looked up to Oswald to find him awake and had a hue of blush on his face which made my heart almost jump out of my chest

But he still had that blank expression which made me a bit sad

I swiftly made my way out of his lap and now standing on both of my feet

I looked down on Ozzy and ended him a hand but he just shook his head

I retreated my hand and looked around me to find only some little fluff-balls awake and most of them asleep

"What are you guys doing up? It's almost night-time" I asked them as I crouched down to their level

"We wanted to sleep with papa...." One of them said twiddling with their tiny chibi hands or paws?

"But you sat on him....!" One of them asserted with sass as they crossed their arms looking the other way

"Eeh...!?" I stare at them with wide eyes and turned beat red

"W-Well, he's all yours now...! Hehe..heh..." I muttered as to not wake the other children up

I never reckoned a day that I'd have such an awkward conversation with a child so I was not prepared AT ALL-

I quickly stood up and as soon as the children lay on Ozzy I stealthily shuffle out the door making sure that no one saw me

I shut the door quietly and sighed

I look out the open window to meet the beautiful night sky

How the stars aligned with every twinkle

How the moon would glimmer and suffocate the darkness upon its trail

I leaned more onto the window frame as I gazed upon the starry night

It was cold... 'Maybe I should go for a night stroll... That sounds delightful'

I smiled at the thought and went to look for my coat

°•Mini Time Skip•°

I wander down the sidewalk not knowing what lies ahead of me since my eyes were stuck in the beautiful sky

The cold breeze hitting my bare face as I take each step

It was as relaxing as reading a book in peace

The sound of my footsteps alone made me feel calm

The way there's one thump on the concrete after another, over and over again

People might find it quite tiring but I find it peaceful

I finally take my eyes off the sky and look down at my feet going at a calm and steady pace

"I wonder..." I said out loud

I stopped in the middle of a random alleyway and looked up

"...How long this quest will last..."

I mumbled as I continued to walk down the unknown alleyway

'Of course, I'm excited about the quest but I'm also gonna miss my friends while I'm gone...'

I stared at the end of the alleyway looking a bit unhappy

"Agh! I need these thoughts to shut up.."

I said looking agitated but still keeping a bit of confidence near
