I dare you ~ Mason Mount

Part 6

"Yeh hi, hello I'm good" I say sarcastically.

"Hey, how are you" I notice Jadon Sancho decided to speak and join in sarcastically matching my tone.

"I'm good thanks for asking, now what was you saying?" I look back to Jack. That deserved an eruption of laughters.

"What I was sayin was do you wanna go first for truth or dare. Yes? okay truth or dare? Dare.okay" he didn't even let me speak but it was funny so I just went along with him.

Jadon spoke again " imagine if he dared her to make out with Mason" Mason's face went pink when I looked up but he didn't meet my gaze, instead he kept his head down and looked at the floor.

Oh no Jack has a smirk on his face.

Oh god, really?

"She wouldn't do it" Foden spoke up.

"It's just a kiss" I shouldn't have said that.

"Fine" Foden sounded confident.

"Okayyyy??"

"I dare you"

All eyes were on me then again on Mason. This time his eyes met mine and both our faces went pink. I started to stutter and Mason was making little excuses that I wouldn't want to do it and how we had only just met. Honestly I agree but the boys weren't having it.

"Nope nope as you said, and I quote 'it's just a kiss' so get up"

"Fine" Mason whispered. That shocked me, wait that means we are actually gonna do it. Okay. A kiss won't do any harm. Next thing, Mason got up and started walking to me, I stiffened when he got close. I didn't know what to do, am I meant to smirk or smile or laugh or be moody?! I chose to give him a worried smile. Haha great..

"It's just a kiss. Right?" That's all he said before leaning in and placing his soft lips on mine, I watched his eyes close first then shortly followed his movement. It wasn't a peck, it was a kiss with more movement just no tongue, and boy did he know how to kiss. I cupped his face in my palm and sunk into the kiss. About 5 seconds later we broke the kiss and smiled at each other before Mason went back to his seat smirking, while all the guys started in shock.

"Woah" was all Jack had to say.

The rest of the game was filled with me and Mason sending each other sneaky glances and smirks. What I said kept repeating in my head. 'It's just a kiss' It's really just a kiss right? Because now I can't stop looking at him AND ITS ONLY THE FIRST DAY..

We continued playing the game, it felt like I was the only one who hadn't forgotten about the kiss and I'm thankful. The boys of course did they're silly dares like running around doing something silly, or sending a risky message, or my favourite I got to tweet a message on Phil's account and I'm telling you it was the best.

"WHAT?!" Phil shouted.
Everyone bursted into laughter once they saw.

"No hear me out you will actually suit it" All the other guys agreed with me which made Foden slowly agree 50%.

After the game everyone started to head to their rooms for the night. Mason got up quick and headed towards me again, walking me towards my room.

"Nice idea with Foden's dare, now everyone is gonna be hoping he scores"

"Yeh I guess, I mean at least we get a goal right" it had already felt like we was close although it's only been a day. One long day.

Once we stopped at my door he placed a kiss on my forehead and said goodnight leaving me AGAIN with butterflies. Oh. My. Days.

The next day was the same and I had already gotten used to my routine. In the mornings, I'd do some private training with Brenda then head to have a break whilst the guys do the same. After that I would train with the team for what felt like forever then head of for lunch. At the end of the day we would end the night with games or chill in the lounge area. Throughout the day Mason and I shared looks but we acted normal as if what happened the day before never happened and I'm not gonna lie it had been kind of bothering me but I brushed it off and also acted like nothing happened, but still was close with him. ALSO YES I STILL GOT BUTTERFLIES FROM HIM WHEN HE SPOKE TO ME. ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING WITH HIS MORNING VOICE AHHHH.

3 days later, The boys had gone to play in their match. The building was quiet and it felt lonely. I would normally wake up and feel happy to joke around with the guys but now I wake up to silence. Just like the usual, I would head out to train with Brenda then have a break and again do more training. This time training was more of yoga but still football training. I mainly practiced shooting and without the team training went slower than usual. I didn't have Jack and Jadon there to make me laugh, or Mason to make me smile. Honestly I missed them but I had to get used to it. Anyways they'd be coming back in 2 days, pretty sure I can handle that.

Sad thing is that when they get back, three days later they leave again to go play against another team if they win. Fingers crossed they do, then Foden will get that new hairstyle.

It's been so long since I last spoke to Jason and now that I've finished my day of training and I'm alone I can call him and catch him up on everything that's happened so far.

"Wait what?! You guys kissed? On the first day!"

"Yeh I know weird"

"I knew it you guys are meant to be, this is just the beginning"

"Woah slow down there, I mean we haven't spoken about the kiss since and I even said it's just a kiss"
