The case she was researching wasn't far but it still was about an hour's drive from her motel. Amelia was trying to remember if she had ever run into those men before. Their names did not ring any bells in her memory. If only I had a chance to see their faces, maybe I'd recognize them.

Amelia turned into the winding driveway of her newest case, the sprawling mansion loomed over her car like a vengeful spirit. Just waiting for her to step inside and unravel all its secrets. Of course, the place was already swarming with local police causing Amelia to scowl as she pulled off to the side. While most had good intentions more often than not the cops just got in the way. Taking a deep breath and looking into the rearview mirror, Amelia adjusted her collar (outfit at the bottom). She had found out early on the hard way that fake uniforms have to look perfect or else it could all go to shit real quick and it was a mistake she wasn't going to make ever again.

"Scio me venire velis, sed modo hic manere ok?" She cooed at Bullet who barely raised his head as she opened the car door. Hoping it would lull the hellhound into compliance.

(Translation: I know you'd like to come with me, but just stay here ok?)

Hiking up the driveway, around the cops who seemingly had nothing better to do than mull around the crime scene of a... whatever this was, Amelia ran over the procedures in her head. It had been a long time since she impersonated a member of the law and acted like one was more an art than a science. Amelia held her breath as she flashed her badge to the cop station just outside the front door, hoping he wouldn't notice how her hands shook ever so slightly.

The moment she stepped through the threshold of the house she heard two familiar voices bickering inside the house near the door.

"You think that Max is that powerful now that he used his magic to revive his sister into a doll?" The voice was hushed so other agents didn't hear them.

"If he did this he had to have been, look around you, Sam. He had to use that ring we told him not to use" the other voice said.

Amelia stepped in behind them, "seems like you boys caught this case just as I did," she smirked and leaned against the doorframe. The men whipped their heads around and the smile on Sam's face was a smile that Amelia hadn't seen in a long time.

"Amelia!" Sam exclaimed and wrapped her in a huge bear hug to which she chuckled and hugged him back.

"Hiya Sammy, it's good to see you too," She and Sam embraced for a while before he released her. Amelia glanced at Dean, he was just as handsome as she remembered him being, "Hi Dean."

"How's it going princess? Didn't expect to see you here," There was a coldness in Dean's voice that while Amelia wasn't shocked to find, still felt somewhat hurt by. Dean and Amelia had a pretty rocky relationship before she left for Hell because of who Dean was and his uh, womanizing, they didn't see eye to eye on most things. One day they had a big fight, and Amelia stormed out and left. Lived the 'apple-pie' life for about a year before getting a hunt for a vamp nest that ultimately would lead to her being in Hell for as long as she was. Looking at Dean now Amelia realized just how much she had missed him, and surely he had to have missed her too in some sense. The history between them wasn't lost just because the years had passed, it had grown more intense if anything.

"Trust me, I didn't think I'd be here either but this popped up on my radar. What are we dealing with this time?" Amelia looked between the boys.

And Sam, who was almost overly eager to tell her, started to tell her the shortcomings of the case, "We got a call from Alicia Banes, a friend of our mom's, she needed help finding her mom but her brother Max insisted that she is overreacting and that their mom is fine. I found a missing person's poster at the diner when I went to pick up dinner. This uh- this missing person's poster was one of a man that I had seen when we arrived here."

Amelia nodded slowly following the story, her hands fidgeted a little. Dean had just kept his eyes on her the entire time, she knew he didn't trust her at all since she was Queen and now she had just randomly shown up. His glare was making her uneasy.

Sam continued, "Dean and I went to investigate, we left the house to find the cellar, we found...we found the bodies of the missing persons, and unfortunately Tasha Banes. We tried to hide it from Max but he saw it and stormed back inside to confront the fake Tasha. He cast some sort of spell on her and she revealed what was controlling her, it was a twig doll she had made to keep Tasha's memory alive, we fought with the things she threw at us. The fake Tasha killed Alicia, we tried to comfort Max but it wasn't any help. Max must've used the witch's ring to prepare and turn Alicia into the doll and burned his sister's real body."

"Well, we'll need to know where Max and Alicia went. If Max is this strong by now...it can't end well for enemies to cross their path," Amelia mused, running a hand through her bun, undoing it.

Dean glanced between Amelia and Sam who seemed to be on good terms even after Amelia had been in Hell for years, they seemed to pick up right where they left off, "How can you be okay with her being here out of nowhere Sam?" he said gruffly.

Amelia looked to Dean with an offended look on her face and was about to reply but Sam beat her to it, "We don't have time for you two to be at each other's throats right now. We have a case at hand that needs to be taken care of before any of your issues get resolved. You two have your feelings to sort through, but we have something a bit more important at hand. So let's just work together to solve this and help the people we need to help."

Sam was right, the three left where they were in the house and headed upstairs to see if anything remained as a clue where Max and Alicia might have gone, but nothing was left of the upstairs bedroom. It had practically burned down in what was now just the ashes of a room. This case wouldn't be unusual as now, the brothers had an extra hand to help them but, the tension would arise between Amelia and Dean as it already was.
