Kairi's Pov

I rushed out the door knowing the fact that it was already 11

I am suppose to be at work already but I forgot to set my alarm last night cause of how tired I was

right after work even if it was already 8 I went to Roshaun's house and I was there until at least 2 am beacsue we were playing GTA and Fortnite

I know it was pretty stupid and I should have left at 10 like Alvaro did

I hurried and made my way to the Asylum  and as soon as I got there I jumped out the car and locked the door and rushed over and scanned my bracelet and when I heard the click I opened the door fast

"running late Kairi?" I heard Juju say and I looked over and smiled

"yea over slept" I said and he laughed and I rushed over to the elevator and clicked the button

I waited a few second and when the door opens I rushed out while looking at the floor and that's when I bumped into somebody

"Oh my god I'm sorry" I said but that's when I realised nobody is supposed to be on this floor yet besides me and Alvaro

I looked up to see the boy from the lunch room

he had hand cuffs on and he was cuffed to a bar on the wall

"Its ok uh are you alright?" he asked and I smiled "yes uh Hunter right?" I asked and he smiled "yep" he said

I looked around and noticed I'm on the wrong floor

"what are you doing on this floor I thought Mattia was on the top floor?" he asked

"uh I guess I clicked the wrong button in the elevator" I giggled out and he chuckled

"why are you cuffed?" I asked and he sighed "I was supposed to be taken outside by the way everyone has their schedule it's on the walk over there for who gose when" he said and I tilted my head to the side

"why not just let everyone out at the same time?" I asked and he laughed "do you really think they would do that this is an Asylum if everyone is out at once don't you think something bad would happen?" he asked and I looked at the floor

"but as I was saying uh I was gonna go outside but the person who was gonna take me had to use the bathroom and they have me one of the lists where you have to be hand cuffed if there isn't anyone around because they think Im gonna do something but yea he cuffed me to the wall and told me to stay here until he came back" Hunter said and sighed

"Oh I'm sorry" I said and he smiled "don't be but if I was you I would hurry and go back into that elevator and get up to Mattia's room" he said and my heart dropped

I had forgot about him shit

"ok thank you uh I'll talk to you later bye Hunter" I said and he smirked "bye beautiful" he said and I blushed

it's not like I liked him or anything it's just when people complement me I blush and stuff

I rushed over to the elevator  but before I l

went in and stoped and looked at the paper Hunter was talking about and I seen Mattia gose outside at 3 so and hour after lunch

I went into the elevator and clicked the right button this time

I waited until it opens and I ran and scanned my bracket and when I heard the click I opened the door and I seen Mattia standing up and I closed the door

"where the fuck were you at?" he said and I smiled

"sorry I came a little late and on my way up I got distracted" I giggled and he huffed

"how did you get distracted?" He asked and I looked over to the bed and then back at him

"I seen somebody walking down the hall and he started to talk to me so I talked back" I explained and that seemed to kinda make him mad

"and who was he?" he asked and I looked at him "why are you asking all of these questions I mean I'm here now why does it matter?" I asked and he rolled my eyes

"just who was it?" I asked and he looked at my face "He didn't tell me I don't know his name but if I see him again  I'll ask" I lied and he shook his head

Well I know Mattia doesn't like Hunter so I don't wanna say that I was talking to him and he gets mad

"no if you see him again stay away from him" He  said and I sighed and walked over to the bed and sat down

I looked  at the Tv and then got back up "it's 11:20 I need to go get you're pills" I said and walked over to the cabinets and unlocked them and grabbed his pills

"ok here you go" I said and he put it in his mouth and I handed him a water bottle and he took the pill

I ran back over and locked the cabinet again and came back over to him and sat down

"ok there is still awhile until lunch so what do you want to do?" I asked and he turned on Netflix and layed down

"ok" I said and layed down next to him and looked at the Tv and he smiled
