Gigi groaned softly as she slowly woke up, eyes still closed. One faint sound made the blond haired girl more alert however. A sob.

"Lil? Are you ok?" Gigi asked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. When no answer was given, the brown eyed girl rolled over, leaning on her elbow to actually see her sister.

Regina sniffled softly, unshed tears shining in her brown eyes as more and more rolled down her cheeks.

Molly rubbed Regina's hand reassuringly as she and her sister share a look.

Gigi had to look down to hide her own sorrow.

"Give me a minute Gina. I'll be right there."

Soon enough, Gigi sat next to Regina, tightly grasping one of her hands with her own.

"So... he isn't with you then?" Molly finally got the courage to ask, the small light of hope inside her chest becoming weaker and weaker with each word.

"No." Regina furiously wiped at her eyes.

The two sisters shared a look once again.

"I don't know what to do..." Regina continued miserably.

Gigi held on the other's hand like a lifeline.

"He promised, Molly! Promised that he- that we would be here for each other, always. And now..." Regina stopped herself as a series of broken sobs escaped her lips.

All Gigi could see as she looked at Regina was someone broken once strong, standing proud beside her beloved. Now she was a woman drowning in a lake of her own tears, waiting until she would plummet to its very depths, to stay there forever.

Something about that sight solidified Gigi's decision. She will do it, for the crying girl beside her, for all of them.

"Where are you going?" Molly asked, trying not to sound worried.

"Don't worry." Gigi said softly, eyes still fixated on the night sky beyond their window. "If I come back, I won't be alone."

As the meaning of her sister's words hit Molly, the girl collapsed on her knees, one hand clasped on her mouth.

By the time Molly's vision had cleared enough for her to look ahead, her twin was already gone, only curtains flowing in the wind left in her wake.
