POV: Riley

I was just about to withdraw money when the lights turned off and everything was dark.
Outside was a big thunderstorm coming up, and the rain was pouring against the windows
I ran to the doors and tried to open them, but they didn't move. I banged with my wrists against the window and screamed for help.

"You don't need to try that hard, they won't move because they're electric doors." a calming voice said next to me.
I turned around and looked at him up and down. He had brunette hair, blue eyes that looked very mysterious to me and a beard that looked soft. He wore a dark blue suit and a white shirt underneath, and it fitted him perfectly.

"Don't look at me like that, I didn't invent these doors." He looked at me.
"I know, but you look too fancy, where were you going? Suit guy", I said with a sassy undertone.

"I was going to a party to meet some friends, but I'm glad I can't go anymore", He smiled at me.

I walked to the wall and sat down, and he followed me and did the same as me.

"I'm Riley by the way", I gave him my hand, and he gave me his.
"I'm Niall, nice to meet you Riley", he smiled back at me while introducing himself.

I looked at him closer and started thinking where I could know him from, but I couldn't pick my finger on it.
"Hey why do I feel like I know you from somewhere?", I ask him, and he looked at me like I caught him.

"Well, I don't like talking about myself that much, but maybe you do know me, I'm a singer" He whispered.
"Are you...like famous?"
"I only had one big hit, honestly nothing special, it's called 'slow hands'."
"Ohhh I think I actually do know it, that was you?" I said surprised.
"Yep that was me."

I remember one time driving in the car with my friend's and slow hands was coming up on the radio, and we had the best time ever, but sadly they aren't my friend's anymore because they thought I didn't fit to them anymore.

"Any other songs I could know of you?"

"I only have one album and there were two other songs that were a little hit, but I'm sure you don't know them, people only know me as the slow hands guy."

"Well I know you as the guy that got stuck with me and keeps me company." I said to him.

He is a nice company because I could've stucked in here with an old creepy man or even alone, so I was glad it was Niall.

I was probably shivering because Niall decided to lend me his jaquette. To be fair I was wearing just a shirt, and it was too cold outside for just a shirt. "Thanks." I smiled at him politely.

"And what about you Riley?, tell me something about you?" He asked me.

"Well I'm a journalist, I wrote some articles about literary anything, and today I was about to go home to me and have a movie night with my roommate."

"The first thing I will do when I'm home is trying to find all your articles and read them." He teased me.
"Oh then I will listen to your music when I'm home." I smiled at him.

"I actually have some books in my bag if you want to read something I can lend you one?"

"I'm not much of a reader, but yeh why not." I pulled two book's out of my bag, the first one was Little Women and the second one was Howl, and he didn't even look surprised by the books.

"Choose one." I gave him both books so that he could take the book he wanted to read.
Niall took Howl and didn't even say a word after that and opened it immediately.
After a while I looked at him, and he looked at me back. " Do you have pen for me?" He asked.
"Um sure somewhere in my bag must be a pen."
When I found the pen I gave it to Niall, and he started writing something in my book.
