Falling

Your arms were my home,

now i'm out on the street.

I wander and roam,

but no answers I meet.

I'm a sailor on the sea,

you're the North Star.

The stars, they flee,

now I'm lost in the dark.

I was so high on your love,

I'm still falling, falling.

I knew nothing of

the pain of withdrawing.

The sky, it's falling,

 closing in on the street.

The ground, it's flowing,

beneath my very feet.

We're over, I know,

it's all said and done.

But I can't let you go,

I'll wait with the sun.
