I lug my body up the 4 flights of stairs to get to Katie's apartment, we lived quite close together, only a suburb away actually! As soon as I had read through the conversation her and Sadie had in the main group chat I knew I had to talk to her about it. It seemed as if she'd been carrying a lot of her problems and traumatic experience on her bag and it was weighing her down. It took me a while to think up a few questions to ask her when we met up but I've finally decided how I'm going to approach the situation.
Finally, I make it up to the door and begin to knock before seeing the door open quickly with a beautiful girl holding onto the doorknob.

Back with Bridgette It took me a moment to realise that the person standing in front of me was Katie. She always used to have such a childish lifestyle that she would share with Sadie, it pains me to see how much she's lost. "So do you want to come in or are you just going to keep staring that me?" Katie says as my face starts to flush a deep red, "I- uh- I'm- I would love to come inside." Why did I stutter so much? Oh my gosh this is going to be a long day.
Katie's POV As I open the door I'm met with a gorgeous blonde haired girl staring at me, it almost laugh to myself, this is quite the encounter isn't it? About a minute or so passes and I begin ti speak. I decide to choose my next words carefully, I don't want to step out of our level of friendship. "So do you wanna come in or are you just going to keep staring at me?" I see her expression change from puzzled to flustered in a matter of seconds. She's stumbling in her words and seems like she tripping over her shoelaces although she's not moving. After she calms down I walk back inside with her following me. We sit down on some of the chairs around my empty table and she begins to speak, "So do you wanna talk about what happened between you and Sadie or do you wanna leave that for later?" "Maybe a little later, let me get you something to drink and we can talk about how you're doing, what would you like?" I reply. "Just some water if that's alright?" "Yes of course! Give me one minute and I'll be right back!"
3rd person POV As Katie makes her trip back from the kitchen she asks Bridgette how she's been and what's been going on in her life, Bridgette replies, "I don't even know anymore honestly I thought I had my life on track with y'know being with Geoff and living in a big nice house but I feel alone. I hate to say this and I think Geoff does too but we are drifting away from each other and I think we both know it's for the best." Katie asks, "But aren't you too engaged?" "Yeah, but I'll tell you a little secret of you promise not to tell anyone," "I won't!" "We're both a little to fruity to be together." "Oh my! That does sound like a stressful situation! How do you think you're going to tell Geoff?" "Well the thing is... I already have." "What?" "He's dating Brody, y'know the guy who competed with him in the ridonculous race?" "Yeah I know him," "We just tell everyone we're dating/engaged because we're getting laid by Chris to uphold a 'straight reputation' for the show," "Wait does that make you actually single?" "Yeah." "Ok then, that seems like a pretty big mess of problems, anything I can help with? "Maybe just taking my mind off of things maybe telling me some of the story?" "Well, I guess it's about time I told somebody," "You don't have to you know!" "I know, but I want to. Because I trust you." Katie smiles at Bridgette and they share a moment in silence before their eyes lock. It was as if there was a fire burning through the both of them and they didn't want to put it out. Katie begins, "Well it all started when..."
