Plagg's P.O.V
Plagg carefully hovered above Adrien, checking if he was still asleep. He then flew over to his camembert stash and grabbed sock-Plagg. The decoy had worked the past few days, all he had to do was place sock-Plagg where he had earlier told Adrien he was going to sleep, then in the morning he would hide it again. Noticing the window was still open, Plagg resisted the urge to laugh. Adrien had still left it open after sneaking out as Chat Noir, he was just making Plagg's job easier. Plagg sped out of the window so he wouldn't be seen, and soon arrived on top of the balcony at the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Tikki was already waiting for him.
"Hey Sugarcube."
"Hello, Plagg."
"Not calling me 'Stinky Sock' anymore, Sugarcube?"
"As long as you still call me that, I refuse to give you any nickname you like." Tikki then changed the subject, "Anyways, Adrien still doesn't know more than he should, right."
Plagg recalled the other night when Tikki threatened she would never speak to him again if he gave Adrien even the smallest hint about Ladybug's identity.
"Ughh, it's not like he would figure it out even if I gave him a hint, Sugarcube. My boy gets more oblivious everyday. It's pure pain to listen to him droning on about his Lady, and rehearsing puns to tell her, and continuously saying, 'She's just a friend.'"
"Well, stinky sock, it is far worse to hear Marinette attempting to make convoluted plans about how to get with Adrien, and telling herself there is nothing between her and Chat Noir."
"I love my boy and all- only because he, uh, gives me a lot of cheese, but you can't even imagine how annoying he can be, Sugarcube."
"You're going to just have to deal with it, stinky sock, because if you tell him anything I will never speak to you again."
"Calling me 'stinky sock' again, Sugarcube?"
Tikki looked slightly flustered then she regained her usual calmness, "Not anymore, Plagg.""What if I... ... never speak to you again if you don't call me that!"
"That would be the best thing that has ever happened in my life, Plagg."
"Ok, then I'll never leave you alone if you don't call me that."
"Since you have to be with Adrien in case of an Akuma-Attack, that would be quite hard. Now it's almost morning, you've got to go, stinky sock."
Stinky sock. She called him that again. Plagg thought about his talk with Tikki the entire way back.
When Adrien awoke he found Plagg stuffing a large slice of camembert into his mouth.
"So, Plagg, I woke up in the night and noticed you replaced yourself with sock-Plagg. Care to explain yourself?" Adrien questioned.
"I was just with sugarcu- I mean Tikki, Ladybug's kwami."
"On a date?"
"Adrien, you know very well the thing I love most is camembert, if I were dating Tikki, I would be married to camembert."
"You don't have to be dating someone to like them and hang out with them, just take me and Ladybug for example."
"Kwami's don't fall in love, Adrien, Tikki says it all the time."
"Plagg, Ladybug says all the time that she loves someone else and we don't have a chance with each other, but do I give up? No. If you like Tikki then don't give up, then soon enough you'll have proven kwamis can fall in love."
"No matter what I always stick with camembert, I should do the same with Tikki, and you should do the same with Ladybug." Adrien and Plagg then did a high five.
Tikki's P.O.V
"Kwamis can't fall in love, Marinette."
"But you and Plagg seem pretty close."
"Close, but not in love."Tikki knew that Kwamis weren't supposed to fall in love, or at least they never had. Although Plagg seemed very close to proving that it was possible. Even if Tikki did like him, she would convince herself otherwise.
"Why can't Kwamis fall in love?" Marinette asked Tikki, who was sitting on her palm nibbling at a Macaroon.
"It has just never happened before."
"I don't get it. Tikki, you always say there is a first time for everything."
"I don't think Plagg would ever let me see the end of it if I started liking him."
Chat Noir's P.O.V
Chat Noir leapt out of his window, watching as the Agreste mansion faded farther from view.
He was going out for his usual patrol with his Lady. Finally, he arrived on a rooftop where he spotted Ladybug waiting. "Hello M'lady."
"Hi Kitty."
"So Bugaboo, we've got a problem."
"Is it an akuma?" Ladybug started to get up, ready to go in action.
"No, bugaboo, it's about our Kwamis."
"Oh- what is it about our kwamis? Also, I've told you about a million times not to call me 'bugaboo.'"
"My kwami tells me that your kwami says that kwamis can't fall in love-"
"-and this is 'a big problem.'" Ladybug said as a grin crept up her face.
"Yes, M'lady, it is. My kwami- Plagg- definitely likes your kwami, but kwamis can't fall in love."
"Plagg reminds me of you right now, is a cat that likes a Ladybug that doesn't like him back." Ladybug teased.
"So you're saying Tikki doesn't like Plagg back?"
"Knowing her, even if she did she would convince herself she doesn't."
Chat Noir scooted closer to Ladybug. "M'lady, are you sure you aren't doing the same thing with me?"
"I'm sure I'm not convincing myself that I like another boy." Since she didn't mention convincing herself she doesn't like Chat Noir, he stayed sitting very close to her, until she pushed him away.
"This is a problem because I have a plan to our Kwamis together, but I need your help."
Ladybug faked to look astonished. "Since when do you have plans?"
"This will work, M'lady, I promise." After telling his plan, Ladybug made a couple tweaks, and they decided to do it in the next day. Soon they will have proven Kwamis can fall in love.
