"HOLY-" Sabine screamed. Tears flooded down her face, and she quickly covered her mouth. Her knees wobbled, threatening to give out. Sabine put her hand out to where she thought the table was, to steady herself, but the table was non-existent.
Her knees buckled and she fell to the cold, marble floor. Sabine was already unconscious before she hit the ground.
"Sabine!" An urgent voice called out, as Sabine's view was dominated by darkness.
"She's gonna be okay..." A new voice, getting less and less clear.
"Get the medics..." And that was the last thing Sabine heard. She was blasted into a painful darkness.
<>
"Sabine...?" A quiet and calm voice stuck out from the darkness. Sabine found herself floating in a never ending gloom, her grey dress floating up around her legs. She pushed it down.
"Sabine. I'm here," she heard again. Wait a second, she recognized that voice...
"Amber!" She gasped, finally finding her voice. "Amber! Where are you?" Sabine started to wiggle around, trying to move in the nothingness.
"I'm here," and Amber appeared beside her - looking the exact same as she always did. White dress shirt, navy suit coat and crisp black pants. Her hair was messy as usually. She looked alive and well.
"Amb..." Sabine cried out, swimming to Amber's outstretched arms. Sabine held onto her, thankful for the support. She sobbed into Amber's shoulder, and Amber didn't stop her. She just held onto Sabine, patting her back now and then. It was comforting, and really that was all Sabine needed. But all good things have to come to an end.
"Beany, I have to go," Amber whispered to Sabine, using her old nickname.
"But... No! I won't let you leave me again!" Sabine cried out, her voice echoing in the blackness.
"Be good, Sabine. Do good..." And with that, dream-Amber disintegrated into nothingness.
And Sabine began to get a horrible head ache.
<>
"Ughhhhhh..." Sabine squeezed her eyes shut. She reached up and rubbed her head. What had happened?
"She's awake!" Reye's voice screamed.
