"Come on Katie." Ethan said softly as he crouched down to your daughters height.

"You're gonna have so much fun sweetie." He spoke sweetly as he pressed a soft kiss to her chubby cheek.

She pouted and wrapped her small arms and legs around Ethan's torso in protest.

"But daddy I wanna stay with you and mommy." She said as tears began to well up in her eyes.

"Katie." He began as he held her hand. "It's only for a little while and then you'll be home with mommy and I.

She poked out her lower lip and crossed her arms across her chest. "Okay daddy." Katie said after a few moments of protesting.

Ethan led her up to the door and she blew him a kiss goodbye as she headed down the hallways.
