Your POV

It had been weeks since the red kryptonite incident...I hadn't spoken to Kara since it happened...Kara didn't try to speak to me at work, she respected my wishes...

Alex made her way towards me, sighing. "Hey Y/n." I tilted my head. "What's up Alex?" Alex looked like she was going to cry. "It's Kara...an alien used kryptonite on her...she's hurt bad..."

I gasped. "Where is she?! Is she okay?!" Alex gently took my hand in hers. "She's okay, she's healing in the medbay if you want to see her."

I nodded and quickly ran to the medbay.

I heard Kara when I opened the door. "Alex I'm fine, just leave me alone."

I laughed. "Good thing it's not Alex then huh?"

Kara's head shot up in my direction. "Y/n...I wasn't expecting to see you..."

I sighed and sat down next to her, taking her hand in mine. "I'm sorry Kara..."

Kara shook her head. "You have nothing to be sorry for...I do...I shouldn't have said what I said to you."

I smiled. "It's not you're fault Kara...you wasn't yourself...I understand that now...though a part of me can't help but think..."

Kara gently tilted my chin so that I had to look at her. "No...Y/n, you are nothing like Lex, nothing!"

I looked into Kara's eyes for the first time in weeks and could see nothing but pure love and adoration there. I couldn't help but look down at her lips and then back up into her eyes.

We both slowly leaned towards each other, our breaths mingling together, I was sure Kara could hear my heart beat speed up.

Just before our lips connected, the door burst open. I sprang away from Kara and looked to see Winn in the door way, going red in the face.

"Oh...errr.sorry....I just wanted to see how you are Kara..."

I laughed. "It's okay Winn, I have to get back to work."

As I stood up to leave Kara took my hand. I turned back towards her and smiled. "We'll talk later." I leaned over and kissed the top of her head.
