Chapter 19: When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Y/n's POV

After hours of watching Attack on Titan, we all decided to call it quits and turn in for the night. I got up from the couch, putting my trash in the garbage. "Hey, do you know what happened to Uraraka? She left in the middle of the show." Izuku said, a concerned look on his face. "I don't know, I was wondering the same thing. Hey, can we talk about how she was acting earlier? It wasn't weird to you?" I asked.

"If you want, I actually should've told you before we started dating. It wasn't that big of a deal though, or at least not at the time," He responded. "You wanna talk about it now, or...?" Izuku asked. I nodded my head, leading the way up to my dorm room.

Once we both got in, he closed the door and made his way over to my bed, where I was sitting with my knees up to my chest, my back on the headboard. He sat down where my feet were, his legs hanging over the side of my tall bed, and his hands in his lap as he looked down at them.

"So what exactly do you want to know? I'll tell you everything, no lies, I swear, " Izuku promised. I looked at him while biting the skin off of my bottom lip. Force of habit. (Nah but seriously tho.)

"Tell me everything. From the beginning. In detail." I told him. He nodded his head and began telling me about his relationship with Uraraka.

"So, it all started at the entrance exams for UA last year. That's where I met her. She was the first girl my age I'd ever talked to. You know how I get when I talk to girls, I get very......flustered." He started. "That's an understatement!" I mumbled, laughing. He just smiled.

"Anyways, if it wasn't for Uraraka, I wouldn't have been going to UA. During the final moments of the entrance exam, the was a huge zero-point robot. While everyone ran away from it, I just stood there, terrified. That was until I heard Uraraka screaming for help. When I looked, she was trapped under a robot part, about to be smashed by the zero-point robot. Then, my quirk activated, and I destroyed the robot with one punch, saving Uraraka's life." He said.

"Giving very much, One Punch Man vibes!" I interrupted his story. He laughed. Sorry, I'm just gonna go fall in love real quick. His continuing story snapped me out of the little trance he had put me in.

"Yeah. After I destroyed the robot, all of my limbs were broken except for my left arm. I started falling back down to the ground, I prepared another smash to soften my fall, but Uraraka used her quirk on me, saving me before I hit the ground. She saved my life and I saved hers. Before I got the chance to get at least one point, the exam had ended. Later, when I got my acceptance letter, All Might showed a clip of Uraraka trying to convince Present Mic to give me her points for saving her. We both happened to make it into UA. Throughout the year, we had gotten close. I started to develop feelings for her, and she reciprocated them. Towards the end of the year, we got into a relationship, " Izuku revealed.

My mouth dropped. How could Uraraka not say something? I just broke the girl code. Everyone knows that you don't date your friends' ex. So why didn't she tell me?

"We dated until about the middle of summer break. So about two months. At the end of those two months, I concluded that I wasn't attracted to Uraraka, I just respected her. I had never been in a relationship before that so I had got the two confused. I didn't realize it until I talked to my mom about it, and by the time we were done talking, I realized I had no real romantic feelings for her, so I broke up with her. She always seemed fine, but I could tell it hurt on the inside. I just brushed it off though because I thought eventually it'd go away. I guess not though...." He trailed off.

"Do you think she still has feelings for you?" I asked. He looked at me, thinking about the question. "I-I don't know. I hope not-" "Even if she does that's too bad. I know it might be considered breaking the girl code or whatever, but I never knew you two were together, she should've told me that from the start, but since she didn't, I didn't break shit!" I ranted. Izuku nodded his head in agreement, furrowing his eyebrows in frustration.
