Raphaella La Cognizi
A woman who met an; irregular fate

You see she wasn't always flying around on the starship Aurora, fighting in wars and doing experiments, and She didn't always have wings.

You see she came from an ordinary nowhere planet on an ordinary nowhere solar system. She grew up with two normal parents, and grew up with a normal interest, Science. However that may have been the thing to seal her fate, dying ten millennia later in a black hole.

She graduated from university with a degree in chemical sciences, though that didn't stop her from branching off into other sciences, and she landed a job in a lab, she made friends and occasionally enemies there. Though no enemies stuck around long. She didnt kill them if thats the vibe your getting. They just happened to leave after awhile, but she stayed. She stayed until she found something she shouldn't have, an irregularly high amount of salt in a leading brand company's water, the company that distributed all the water to the people in the city.

Just enough to make them get more water, run the tap just a little longer. She'd been telling some of the other scientists of this and an employee picked up on it, bringing it to head office, and theyd conculded they couldnt let the information out. So they took rather; extreme measures.

Raphaella La Cognizi, what a pretty name. The name of a woman who thought shed met her end, falling off the roof of a building shed dedicated a better part of her life too. The name of a woman, whod finally learned what it felt like to fly, who thought that that feeling would be her last

so when she woke up hearing voices, it confused her

"Why does she get wings?? I want wings, all I got was an arm"

"I mechanised her spine and your arm, the wings where a..Creative choice-"

"I think your arm looks lovely dear boy!"

"Shh! Shes waking up."

When her eyes adjusted to the light in front of her stood a woman in a labcoat and an eyepatch, a short man with a metal arm, what seemed to be a life sized wooden man, and a woman with visable grey veins, a woman in the corner with a metal plate on her head reading something, two men, one with mechanical eyes and the other with the most obscure eye makeup shed ever seen. A man with a..A metal face? And a person with a lit cigarette in a medical ward, wearing some of the most obscure clothes she'd ever seen, to be honest they all had clothing shed never even seen before

The woman with the eye patch stepped forward "Im Dr. Carmila, welcome to the mechanisms" she smiled

Fin.
