The past week has been spent in my bed, crying my eyes out and listening to Olivia Rodrigo songs. How could I be so stupid to trust Oscar again? Speaking of Oscar, he's in South Carolina visiting his family. (I believe that's where they live) Just a few months ago we were happy. We were fine. Why did he cheat on me. Was it something I did?
My thoughts are interrupted by a knock at my door.
"Come in." Jc walks in and I smile. "Hey Jocelyn.. I wanted to see how you were doing." "I'm doing okay.. Just dreading in a few day when Oscar comes home." Jc sits on my bed and pulls out his phone. "I was actually talking to mom. And if you want, I can get you an apartment here in L.A. that way you don't have to be around Oscar." I smile and nod. "That would be amazing. But can we not tell him where it is? At least until he figures himself out." "Of course sis."
That afternoon me and Jc spent looking online at apartments. "Look at this one!"

"You like that one?" I nod and check to see for a number. Jc calls it and before you know it the apartment is mine! ..... Jc, and the guys (besides Oscar) helped me move all my stuff within 2 days and I'm finally all settled into my apartment. I'm making dinner and my phone starts ringing.
I answered it without looking at who it is first.
"Hello?" "Jocelyn! You moved out?"
Shit. Oscar.
"Um I'm sorry who is this?" "Don't play dumb, please baby I miss you." I can hear his voice cracking over the phone. "I'm not moving back Oscar.." "You didn't go back to Texas did you?" "no.. I didn't. I'm still in L.A."
There was silence for a moment.
"Jocelyn.. I'm sorry I ever hurt you. I'm in love with you baby. I don't want anyone else besides you. Please baby.."
I could feel a bump in my throat and water in my eyes.
"I-I love you too Oscar.."
