READER POV

"The walls will never fall, I don't understand why they can't just stay here." One muttered enough so everyone could hear him. another person "another expedition, another fail"

"It's almost like they're trying to be killed."

"I feel like they're bringing them closer to us rather than saftey."

"Was it even worth it?"
Honestly I wasn't sure if anyone could answer such a question. Titans don't have the reproductive system so every expedition we go on makes it seem like we are getting somewhere but no matter how hard we try they always keep coming back. It's like they can regenerate after every time they disappear into thin air. Maybe they get new appearances every time they're nape is sliced, I wouldn't know though.

Needless to say humanity didn't even have a choice what was even the point, Titans are almost impossible to understand. nothing about it makes sense how those did giants even get created? It was a question none of humanity can even answer, everyday someone could die from a titan you never know what will happen whether good or bad, what if they come from the sky? Probably not.

Normal POV
After you got back from the expedition some people sat at the mess hall quiet, it was so empty most of the people were in their rooms crying and mourning over they're tragic loses from their comrades or maybe even family, luckily for you, you didn't loose anyone you trusted and that meant something to you and you expected it to stay that way,  you had loved all of your friends, you couldn't imagine them or you leav8ng them due to those monsters. You sat down at a table with your friends "where's [FD/N]?" (friends name) you asked quietly, your friends looked tired and sad. "[F/N], [FD/N] didnt make it out alive this time.." one said quietly. "It was my fault" he said looking away while trying to hold in his tears. Your face grew pale white. Well there goes not wanting your friends dead "w-what?" You asked in complete shock.

You started tearing up but you wiped your face and sat down immediately changing the subject one of your friends said "well [F/N] I got you some bread" "thanks yulia"you smiled, then took it from her hands while she was giving It to you "im starving" you said while trying to make small talk with at least someone at the table, but no one seemed to reply they all seemed so dreadful it made you feel anxious and you were very upset about your loss.

You immediately sat up. "I'm gonna go eat in my room" you said before walking out of the mess hall and towards the girls dorm rooms as soon as you got in you noticed your roommate sleeping so as quietly as possible you stumbled yourself to you bed, but your roommate left her uniform clothes on the floor so you tripped and hit your head on the wall causing you to groan out loudly "oh my god [F/N] are you okay?!" Your roommate yelled before getting out of her small bed and going towards you to help. 'No I'm not okay,' you mentally cursed her "yeah I just hit my head, sorry for waking you but please pick up your clothes" you mumbled the last part.
