Josh tosses me a headlight and I catch it, giving one to Kate after adjusting his.
"I can't believe you guys are wearing that" Deena seemed embarrassed of us
"I cant believe you're above it" I smile and turn mine on purposely flashing it in her eyes
"Especially when we're in the middle of the fucking woods and dead maniac are after us" Kate grabs my hand and I follow her to where Simon was leading us all.
After Sam described her encounter with the witch the night she crashed, we all decided it was a good idea to go investigate where she crashed. When we do arrive Sam immediately tries to recreate the situation, I let go of kates hand, crouching down and paying attention to what Sam was saying
"Ok so I fell out the car, here" She gets on her hands and knees gently, moving across the red moss across the floor "I was crawling.... And my nose was bleeding, and than" Her hand sunk down into the red moss a tiny bit, and we all hear the noise of metal clinking "I hear something" She says, pulling her hand up, she brings with her a metal chain. She continues pulling them until finally the final tug, something appears at the end of the chains.
"Oh god,not just chains" Simon says scoring closer to me and Sam, and everyone started to crouch down around the area. He points his flashlight to what Sam had pulled out the ground along with the chain to reveal a skull and we all step back, with a gasp. Josh digs a little deeper into the grave and pulls out a lock, his eyebrows furrowing
"Fier. It's her, it's her grave" He lets out a deep breath
"Oh no no" Simon starts "This is bad! Really bad" And I look at Simon, starting to chew my nails over stress, and he places a hand on my hand that wasn't currently being demolished. And he rubs the side of my hand with his thumb, I would say I was starting to blush but right now is not the right time to try and focus on that when there's a dead witches body right here
"Sam!" I quietly yell and look at her
"What!" She snaps back at me , lifting her hands up in defence
"No wonder the witch is pissed at us. I'd be pissed to" Kate looks to Sam "Sam disturbed her grave!"
"Shit" Josh mumbles and takes a sigh "Now she's sending her henchmen after us"
