Aki Kimura was exhausted.
Aki annoyingly clicked her tongue in the roof of her mouth wanting to break something in annoyance. She's pretty sure it was four in the morning but she had no choice, the plane had already landed and she was awoken by one of the flight attendants. This was now her current situation, flying from america and back to japan as she fidgeted with her hands nervously thinking about the outcome that might happen because of her unexpected return.
Seated on a seemingly endless 17-hour flight, she sifted through business reports her assistant had assigned her that was given by her father, juggled frantic messages from her brother. And grappled with three nights of inadequate sleep, all while battling the grueling effects of jet lag. As she grabbed her luggage, straight off a tiring flight in first class. The food was barely exceptional, and the stewardesses outfits were awful, simply not fitting for her taste.
