GREEDY | Chapter 12

G R E E D Y

AND FOR a second I felt like the world stop, my heart did. I stopped walking because of shock while my eyes wide open. My throat dried as if I'm in the dessert.

"Is there something wrong?" I was snapped back to reality. I blinked twice and fixed my posture.

"N-No" She nodded and smiled that her eyes were closing.

"You're probably shock that I don't look like his wife isn't it? I mean my husband is pretty handsome."

Everytime she mentioned the husband the nail on my heart went deeper and deeper and slapping me with truth that this is his wife and he lied to me.

My blood suddenly boiled when I remember how he tricked me into thinking his wife is dead. How cruel of him! How disgusting of him! How disgusting I am for fucking a married man. I clenched my fist and bit my bottom lip hard enough to wound it.

"I haven't seen my son Megumi. He's still cute isn't he?" Even though I felt like I'm on the verge of breaking down I still managed to hold on to my self.

"W-Well yes, he is cute." My eyes suddenly went blury and my lips shaked. The pang on my heart was enough to make me want to scream. I gasped a little bit and looked through the roof to stop my tears to fall when I remember how happy Megumi were and how we looked like a family last week.

"I felt bad too that I wasn't there on his birthday but today I'm going to suprise them and also to celebrate again even if it's late." The sweetness and the warmthness of her smile made me clenched my fist.

My blood heated more when we were finally at his doorstep.

"You know- are you okay? Your eyes are red?" I nodded my head.

"I'm just tired." I said.

"Oh well... But thank you for guiding me." I just nodded. She turned to the door and knocked. Without a second of it it opened and reveal Toji who's topless and sweating.

"Suprise!" His wife shouted the words loud enough to echo but his eyes were on mine. As my tears fell I turned away and walked. "Y/n." He whispered.

I could feel he stepped out of his door but his wife stopped him. "Aren't you suprise?" I heard. I immediately entered my room and shut the door behind me. I leaned to it and my tears started falling as I cannot stop them anymore.

I felt dirty and disgusting. But I know I cannot blame myself since he was the one who lied to me but still I cannot help be disgusted of myself. I buried my face to me knees and proceeded to cry.

"Toji! I missed you so much." Even if the woman who he married for years were infront of him - hugging ang kissing his body. His body didn't budge a nudge after seeing Y/n's face.

"Hey~" Toji was finally snapped back to reality and tried to form a smile.

"Y-Yeah hahaha. You surprised me." He incircled his hands to his wife's waist.

"Aren't I good at surprising?" Then suddenly his wife looked over to the side when noticed that Megumi was standing on the back. They broke the hug and his wife rushed to Megumi.

"Megumi!" She hugged the little guy and kissed every part of him.

Now Toji standing there with his heart raising and his sweat forming more. He lowered his head clenched his teeth.

"Fuck."
