I was sitting on my bed. "Honey! Come on! You have school!" My mom yelled from downstairs. I sighed and got up. I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs. "Have a good day" I smiled a little and left the house. I got on the bus. I sat in the back and sighed.

*time skip*

The bus stopped and I looked. I smiled. I saw Daniel standing at the end of his driveway. Daniel and I have been best friends since Pre-K. We always hang out, have sleepovers and talk. He walked across the road and got on the bus. He saw me and walked over. I put my bag on my lap.

"Hey" he sat next to me. "Hey. How was your break?" I asked. "Great. What about you?" The bus started driving. "Good" I said. He smiled. "What did you do?" I asked. "Um. I went to see my cousin in Japan" I smiled. "Hannah?" He nodded. "That's amazing. How is she?"

"She's doing good. She said she wants to meet you" I giggled. "I told her a lot about you. And she thinks you're amazing" "I mean she got that right" he laughed. "Am I wrong?" "No no. You're not wrong. But just the way you said it" I giggled.

"So what did you do?" He asked me. "Um. Jordan came over" "Really? Isn't he still in college?" "Well yeah. But he decided to come down to see us" he smiled. "That's nice" I nodded. "Does he still like me?" I sighed. Jordan has a big crush on Daniel but Daniel doesn't like him. "Yes" he sighed and looked down. "I don't like him though. I like someone else" my eyes widened. "Who?"

He looked at me. "You never told me that you liked someone. Who is it?" I'm really protective over Daniel. He's like a brother to me. I don't like seeing him in the hospital, hurt or even cry. Once he had a bruise on his face. It was a tiny one but I knew he was slapped. I was really pissed off when I found out that a teacher did it. Yeah that teacher got fired.

"Um... nobody" "Who is it Daniel?" I asked. "Nobody" "Why won't you tell me?" I asked. "Cause I know you'll get angry. You're really protective" I sighed. "Cause you're my best friend. I want to make sure you're okay" he sighed and looked down. "I'm not telling you" I sighed.

"Fine. But I will find out soon" I said. He looked at me. "Okay" he rested his head on my shoulder and I put my left arm around him. He shut his eyes. So... a lot of people think we're dating. But we're not. We're just friends.

*time skip*

I was sitting in Global. My least favorite class. It's boring. The only reason why I like it is because the teacher is hilarious. And we're very close. I don't have a father so I always call my Global teacher dad. He likes it when I call him that because he lost his son 4 years ago.

Then the bell rang and we all got up. "Alright. Don't forget to do your current events. They are due next week" I sighed. Everyone left. I left the room and went to Algebra.

I walked in and saw Daniel sitting in the front. He was sitting at a long table. I walked over and sat next to him. He looked at me. "Hey" I smiled a little. "Hi"

*time skip*

I was on the bus. I was sitting next to Daniel. "Corbyn you okay?" I looked at him. "Yeah. I'm fine" he sighed. "You sure?" "Dani. I'm fine" he rested his head on my shoulder and I put my right arm around him. Then Sarah looked at us. "Aww. So cute" I let Daniel go and he sat up. He moved to the window.
