Chapter 2 : it was early in the morning around 6 I got up and brushed my hair and my teeth, I decided to wear black leggings and a redshirt with convers. I walked down stairs and saw my mom making food there was boxes everywhere still but it looked decent I guess my mom put more stuff out like pictures carpets and our couch. it was almost time for school i was gonna walk to school but i wanted to go on my bike instead, i ran upstairs and told my mom i was gonna head out, i grabbed my backpack and got on my bike. while i was riding my bike there i saw the same boy i saw when i moved in he was walking, he said walked over to me and asked what my name was " ava" i said, he said "oh well im benny um yea" i said "well nice meeting ya benny boy" and rode off.

A bit after I got to school and I was chaining up my bike so it wouldn't get stolen, I walked in and saw a bunch of kids looking at me I kind of looked away and looked down cause it was awkward. I heard the announcement speaker come on and said " ava smith report to the office " 2x I was walking to the office and heard some one from behind say " need help babe going to the office to." "Nah I'm okay I'll get there my self" I scoffed he had dirty blond hair and brown eyes he was cute I just didn't pay attention much. I got to the office and the blond boy opened the door and said " ladies first" I looked at him sorta annoyed and walked in, " ah you've met are student already Ava he's gonna show you around for the day" the principal said, " oh okay" I said "this is Jordan Philips well you guys can get going to your first period, have a nice day" he said I walked out and philips said "hm nice name pretty to maybe you'll be mine i don't know we'll see " I scoffed and said " you wish thanks for the compliment though" and smiled. We walked to our first period but I was being slow cause how boring he is, "come on you gonna walk slow all day" Phillips said "I don't know do you want me to" I said we got to our first period and every one was just getting settled in the teacher said " every one take a seat" philips pulled me over to a chair and told me to "sit", the teacher called me up and said every one this is our new student say your name " uh hi my name is ava I like baseball I used to play in my hometown just haven't for a while." I said and every one just looked some smiled some glared at me weird but I just sat back down the teacher started blabbering out stuff that they did yesterday then some one tapped my shoulder I look behind me and saw Benny " hey Ava you shouldn't hang out with philips he's a bad person trust me" "why shouldn't I and plus I have to he's the one showing me around I mean I need to know where my classes are." The teacher said " Benny and Ava would you like to say what you said out loud cause it's clearly more important than my learning" I said " no mam sorry I'll listen" and looked at Benny, Benny said "no mam" and then the teacher started blabbering out more thing I didn't care as much really but listened after time pasted the bell rang it was almost time for lunch but we still had our 2 period philips grabbed my hand and said "hurry up slow poke" I said " why did Benny ask me to not hang out with you?" Philips looked upset and said "ah don't listen to him just old stuff how do you know him" he looked mad I said "well I moved in and he lives next to me and met him while I was going to school" "um okay well maybe don't hang around him" philips said I wasn't going to listen cause he doesn't control my life then our next period was gym, we walked in and there was a baseball couch and our regular gym couch the couch was talking and said " today everyone were trying for try outs the baseball couch is here with us today and he's gonna see how you are in baseball or if you wanna play soccer meet me in the field" philips looked at me and said " go out on the field I'm sure you wanna play soccer" I looked at him and said " you wish" "girls can't play baseball you should just go" he said, I said "we'll see about that" the couch told us to grab a glove and a baseball and pair up the couch said " philips team up with new kid" he looked annoyed and grabbed a glove and said "don't get mad if I hurt your hand" I grabbed a glove and said " don't get your hopes up phil" he threw the ball to me and I caught it i obviously was gonna catch it I didn't care what he said I threw it back harder trying to hurt his hand and he said "trying to kill me now smith's " I said " maybe" he threw it back harder and I caught it he looked surprised and said "hm got some moves " I threw it back and he didn't catch it he got mad the couch said " where'd you learn that kid" I said " just learned I played ball at my old town" he said you should try out for captain for our team philips said " what NO!! I should be the one doing that not her she barely threw it!" He threw it right at my face I caught it almost getting hit with the baseball and the couch said "wow philips calm down" philips said " what ever let's just go back" I threw the ball and we did that for a while philips was just kept saying " you shouldn't be captain your a girl, girls suck" I got sick and threw it hard towards him and he didn't catch it he got pissed and said " come on you fucking suck" I got sick of him and said " shut up all you do is complain can you do anything better then complain I get you wanna be captan I was just playing ball PHILIPS!" The gym went silent and I walked out and walked to the bathroom I sat there and cried I was so upset I just wanted to play ball but no some one has to complain I heard some one come in and say " I'm not looking at any of the girl sorry" they said "Ava are you here I'm sorry I shouldn't have said those things" I walked out the stall and looked at philips he tried to hug me and say " sorry" but i pushed him off me and said "see you next period philips" and walked out before I walked out I saw him and he looked upset or maybe more of a sad upset. I walked out to lunch and sat down at a table I wasn't to upset about philips any more I put my head down and just closed my eyes then I heard some one say " hey lady can you move" I looked up and saw Benny and 8 more kids I said " oh shit sorry I'll move didn't know it was your spot " no it's ok sit there we'll go some where else" Benny said I said " no no I'll move I'm not eating any way" I walked to go throw my food away and heard Benny say "you idiots should of let her sit here" . It was almost time for my next period so I got ready to walk the rest of the way then I heard philips say "Ava wait" I stopped and looked back he was running with and bag in his hands he said " I got you some thing hold up" he started to walk towards me and pulled out a glove and a baseball he said " I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything " I looked at him and laughed "I already have a glove and a ball I also just needed time you didn't need to get anything keep it for yourself or give it to someone else." He looked sad that i refused his gift and told me "just to take it" i took it cause i felt bad and then we started walking to our next period. we walked in and benny looked at philips weird. the teacher told us to sit down so we did she was talking about something i didn't pay attention i was just admiring philips he looked at me and i looked away quick.
after class was done i grabbed my books and was about to walk out Philips stopped me " got a starring problem ava" " uh no what are you talking about" i said nervously " ah no i saw you looking at me" "no of course not i was looking at um the board" "what ever u say" "I'm serious i wasn't looking at you". we were walking to our next period but Philips said "hey follow me" i was following him we walked out of school and i asked him what we were doing " com on it will be fun and plus our last period doesn't really matter" " where are we going Philips I'm serious " "calm down" we were walking up to a big house it was 3 story's pretty big Philips grabbed a key from under the door "what are we doing here" "you'll see " we walked in and every thing seemed clean "take off your shoes" i took them off so did Philip i almost slipped cause the floor was so slippery Philips grabbed my hand and stopped me from falling " be careful " he pulled me up stairs and we walked to this room full of baseball stuff " this is your room" "yep" "why did you wanna bring me here" "um.. just to hang out" he pointed to a chair and told me to sat down i sat down and asked "what are we gonna do" " idk well find something while you do what ever im gonna take a shower" he walked in to this bathroom in his room and closed it just enough to where he can see me "what are you the one with a starring problem now " i said "maybe" he said i got embarrassed and looked away from the door.
after 10 minutes he said " can you bring me my clothes there on the bed" i grabbed his clothes and walked in looking at the floor " he grabbed them and i walked out. he came out with just sweats on " i swear i gave you a shirt" "maybe you did or didn't" "put on a shirt " "no I'm okay" he waved me on to his bed i sat on the edge not wanting to stare at him " you know you can look I'm not gonna bite" " very funny " he walked over to his closet and grabbed a shirt "will this make you happy" he put it on "maybe" i said quietly "hm what was that" "nothing" "lets go outside or something" he grabbed my hand and pulled me i was flattered that he kept holding my hand i just tried to hide it. we walked outside to his back yard and he told me to take out the baseball and bat he got me i took them out and he grabbed a mit and threw me one "com on throw it smith " i threw it and we just threw it back for a while and i got tired he sat down and told me to come sit. "you know im happy we met ava" "me to philips " he grabbed my hand and smiled i looked away "i should get going its getting late" "wait don't go yet" he grabbed my hand pulling me back "no no i should ill see you tomorrow" he looked sad " yeah.. okay bye" i walked out and waked home and got in " where have you been " " i was hanging out with my friend mom calm down" "new friend! omg that's amazing invite them over " " no mom its a boy" "ooo boy" "mom no its not like that okay" "im gonna go to bed" i walked up stairs and took a shower i got out put on my clothes and layed on my bed i couldn't stop thinking about philips its like he was stuck in my mind.
