More Than Enough

Ginny was deadly nervous, Florence could tell. But through those nerves, determination, courage, fire and bravery shone through. A true Gryffindor. Florence fixed a strand of Ginny's hair before tracing her jawline.

"I love you, okay?" Florence whispered. "It's going to be okay. You'll still have me and I'll try to be enough-"

"You're more than enough," Ginny said quickly, giving her waist a squeeze. "I love you, Flo." Florence smiled and pressed a kiss on Ginny's cheek. After Ginny had come over yesterday and after they had made up for some lost touching, the two women had talked for hours and hours.

They went to sleep at four in the morning and when they woke up around eleven - Florence called in sick to work - they continued talking. They talked about the things that were said that had hurt them, they talked about Ginny accepting herself, they talked about Florence's job, about how they had spent their days while they were broken up and just about anything that had come into their minds.

It was great to have Ginny back. Florence finally felt peaceful again, whole. Ginny made her feel whole. She was sure that this time it was going to be different, this time it was going to be open. No more secrets, no more hiding.

This time it was going to be as serious as they had always wanted it to be.

This time it was going to be forever.

"Thanks for coming with me," Ginny said, turning around to the mirror once more. She was wearing her favourite jeans with a long-sleeved jumper that had a small rainbow heart on the left side of her chest. It had been Florence's but three months into their relationship Ginny had claimed it and Florence let her. She loved it on Ginny more than on herself.

"Is the jumper too much?" Ginny asked, biting on her bottom lip. Florence stepped up beside her, looking at Ginny via the mirror. She rested her hand on the small of her back and shook her head.

"I love it on you. If you don't feel comfortable in it, wear something else. But it looks great. You look great. Gorgeous like always," Florence said, pressing a soft kiss on the back of Ginny's neck. "They won't be bothered with this tiny rainbow heart, baby."

"I know," Ginny sighed and fumbled with her sleeves. "Sorry, I'm just... just so nervous." Florence nodded and hugged Ginny tightly.

"I know. But you can do this. I'm right there with you. So is Ange, right? She loves you still. She'll stand up for you too in case something does go badly," Florence reminded her. She wanted to say it was going to be okay because she was sure it was, but Ginny had asked her not to say that because she was uncertain about that promise.

"Yeah," Ginny nodded, hugging her back tightly. "We should go though." Florence kissed her softly and pressed one more kiss on her forehead before letting go of her.

"Let's go, love," she said, holding out her hand. Ginny took it, smiling softly before they apparated to the Burrow together. Ginny let go of Florence's hand immediately again, but Florence didn't mind.

"Sorry... after I will take it again if you don't mind?" Ginny apologized softly. Florence smiled at her. She wanted to hug her again but knew that wasn't the best option now.

"I know, Gin. It's okay. All good, I promise. Let's go in, okay?" Ginny nodded, sighing in relief before walking towards the door. The Burrow looked exactly like how Ginny had described it. The tall, wobbly building was surrounded by nature and there were chickens and pigs wandering around.

Ginny stepped inside and Florence followed closely. The feeling of home immediately greeted them both and Florence felt all warm inside. It was crazy that something that is merely a house had this effect on her. This only meant that the people inside were indeed as loving as Ginny had always described them to be.
