We Miss You (SasuSaku Story)

Part 1.

POV: SAKURA

As I'm running through the hallways of Orochimaru's hidden base, chasing Sai, I see a bright light. I exit the dark corridors of Orochimaru's base entering what seems to be a destroyed room and grab Sai by his collar. Anger filled me as I thought Sai was going to try to kill Sasuke, "Alright!" I yell. "Tell us what you're really up to! How many times are you gonna betray us before you-"

"Sakura.."

As I heard those words, said by a familiar voice, I turn my head. Sasuke is standing up on the main ground looking down upon us in the destroyed room. I stared him down in sadness. He's wearing a white sweater, with black pants, the most that stands out is a purple belt around his waist that looks like something Orochimaru wears. He has a sword at his waist.

I must have been zoned out on Sasuke as I didn't notice Naruto and run up by me. Still zoned out, I start hearing more words said by Sasuke, but I make out the words in a blur, "Well Naruto, ___ came ___."

I start to come out of my daydreaming state, "I assume.. Kakashi is here?" Sasuke adds.

Yamato must have walked in also cause I start hearing his voice, "Unfortunately, Kakashi couldn't make it. So I'm hear in his place." He says very calmly. "Team Kakashi has come to escort you back to the Leaf."

Sasuke looks at Yamato and Naruto. He then looks at me but with different eyes then when he looked at Yamato and Naruto. Then continues looking onto Sai.

Talking to Naruto, Sasuke says, "That day, when I left you lying there. I only spared your life on a whim, nothing more."

Then faster than my eyes could see Sasuke goes infront of Naruto and leans a shoulder on him. "You know, come to think of it, wasn't it always your dream to become hokage? All of the time spent on me, could have been spent training."

I see Sasuke pull out his sword planning to stab Naruto. Naruto bravely but pitifully says, "How could I become hokage, if I can't even save a friend."

My mind quickly moves my body and I stop Sasuke's momentum by gripping his arm up in the air.

Sasuke says, "Wow, Sakura, that move you chose was the right one." He then pushes me and Naruto back and I feel electricity fill my body. I fall back and Yamato jumps in. Sasuke's sword was aimed at me until Yamato jumped in. Yamato uses a kounai to try to clash with Sasuke's sword, but Sasuke's sword phases through the kounai. The sword stabbed right into Yamato's chest.

"That was the wrong move." Yamato uses wood substitution. I heal myself with the ability Lady Tsunade taught me and use that as an opening to try to punch Sasuke with my enhanced punch. Sasuke quickly dodges it but almost got hit. Sasuke looked really surprised and must've noticed my healing abilities.

Naruto also steps in with his rasegan and yells, "Sasuke! Come back to the Hidden Leaf! Rasengan!" Sasuke dodges this but Yamato uses that to try and trap Sasuke in a wooden barrier. What I don't realize, is that I'm in the radius of the wooden barrior. The wood comes up from underneath my feet. I trip and fall on the wood, the other side starts to come as it looks like its going to crush me! Is this the end? Am I really gonna die this easily? I then feel a hand wrap around my waist and pull me into the jail. The hand grabs around me more tightly and I feel a body pressed against me.

I hear, "Chidori!" Light quickly appears and I noticed that I'm being held by Sasuke on top of where he first looked down on us.

I hear Naruto yell, "Sakura!" As Naruto voices fades to distance, I wonder, where is Sasuke taking me?

Orochimaru then appears and says, "Sasuke, why have you decided to take the girl?"

Sasuke then says, "She's a medical ninja, she might be able fix your arms."

"Then, let's hurry." Orchimaru then bounds my hands together and blind folds me with some sort of justu.

"Give back Sakura!" I hear Naruto yell one last time before the appearance around me suddenly changes in a blink of an eye.

I feel Sasuke's body still pressed against me and I can't help but notice his extreme warmth. I was shocked when I felt the sting of the cold floor. I hear Sasuke's voice, "This is gonna be your home. Take this." Sasuke's hand aggressively opens my mouth and drops a pill down my throat following with some water. I feel drousy and start to fall asleep.

I'm then awaken and I can finally see. My hands are unbound but I feel terribly weak. I can't feel any of my chakra. I weakly crawl to a tray that has warm porridge and tea. Looking at the food, I then realize how hungry I am. Right when I finished eating, I hear footsteps coming from down the hall. Sasuke appears and I get the same feeling I got when I saw him in that destroyed room. "S-Sasuke."

"Sakura.."

I then feel anger, sadness, then anger again. "Take me back to my teammates immediately."

Sasuke states, "I cannot do that."

Tears fill my eyes, "You've already caused so much, the least you can do is take me back."

I feel my power start to come back. Sasuke with a blank stare says, "Sakura, you're gonna start to feel your power come back and you're gonna use your medical knowledge to make a serum for Lord Orchimaru to get his arms back."

"What?! It's not that easy to do that. How do you expect me to do something not even Lady Tsunade can do?" I exclaim.

Sasuke chooses to ignore my words and unlocks the cell. He comes behind me and aggressively holds my wrists together. Sasuke binds my wrists together with a rope and I'm too weak to not oblige. He forces up to my feet and holds my upper arm with such strong grip. I can't help but feel a familiar feeling rush through my body but I choose to not pay any attention to it.

He leads me down many corridors and I try my best to memorize each turn so I can maybe escape from this place soon.

We then arrive at a certain door that was shaped with many twists and curved patterns. We enter to see Orchimaru sitting on a chair. "So, I heard that you're Tsunade's apprentice.."

"Why do I have to answer to you?" I say.

"Would you like me to attack the Leaf and kill your friends and family?" Orchimaru threatens.

A bit startled by that because I know he's serious, I say, "I am her apprentice.. So what?"

"So you can fix my arms?" He asks.

"Maybe..?" I say. I hear Sasuke's breath turn into a disappointing sign. Confused but I continue, "But, given the ingredients, I might..."

Orchimaru cuts me off, "Perfect! They will be arranged for you," he then edges close to me, but I make sure to not show my fear. Close enough to whisper in my ear, he whispers, "But, if you don't finish this serum in the next 2 weeks, you will have your whole village killed.."

I start to sweat from trying to hide my fear. Orochimaru then sits back, "And if you try to escape from here, be ready accept the same fate, will you accept?"

It seems I have no other choice but to accept. Not being able to hide my distraught, I feel a lump in my throat start to form, "I.. accept."

"Great, I'll let you rest up and charge up your chakra. You'll really need it these next two weeks," Orochimaru says ominously.

Sasuke proceeds to escort me back, but this time his grip is even more stronger and is actually really painful.

Once, I get to the cell, Sasuke pushes me in there aggressively. "Hey!" I yell.

"You idiot! He might've let you go if you just said you didn't know how to fix his arms," Sasuke decides to inform me now. My jaw drops as I start to cry knowing I missed my opportunity.

POV: SASUKE

I see Sakura crying and weirdly, I start to feel kinda bad. Remorsefully, I say, " It's.. okay, Sakura, stop crying. Your hard work starts tomorrow," Sakura starts to look confused.

I walk off still feeling a tad bit embarrassed.

POV: SAKURA

Did I hear that right or did Sasuke feel some sort of remorse? The familiar feeling surges through my body but I again pay no attention to it. I think of my mom and my dad and how much people probably miss me right now. I cried myself to sleep that night.
