Alex stood behind his desk lost in thoughts. His second on command and all his ministers set in front of him in the meetings room, discussing the kingdom welfare.

It was Friday's monthly meeting. The monthly summit, to all his high men to meet and go through the political, economic and social decisions. And if his presence wasn't undeniably compulsory he wouldn't be there at all.

His second on command opened the files to start the meeting but Alex stopped him, signaling to him to hold.

His aura changed just in a seconds. His cold eyes become even colder if it was possible. Nocking with his finger on the table the temperature of the room started to drop bit by bit.

Alex's fame didn't start from vain. His people feared him. All creatures feared him. Children's boogie man was him. The stories around him went on and on. Inspiring generations, while scaring others. His battles were legends. His victories were the roasted wipe to his enemies.

This young emperor achievements filled all the records from conquering lands to paving the roots towards glory. But the most unforgettable one is his blood killing range. His sword if it was drown, it will never stops until it sheds thousands of life. His mood was the worst. If it was provoked all will die before the clock in the wall ticked.

In the battle filed he will order his men to stand still and watch the show while he went on enjoying the feeling of blood in his hands and the screaming of the men's around him. He will never rest until every single one of them is turned a part. His policy is simple, never go against me. His thoughts are loud and clear: cross me and you will vanish.

His words were definitely true as for years the stories of torturing spread wide through the lands for everyone's ears to hear. The cruel, inhuman ways. For the most famous prisons were the ones of his kingdom. People who entered some didn't have the chance to retell the experience. And for those who were lucky to live and tell, let's say they weren't in their right mind to know how to talk.

His men knew that something was wrong. They stood there unable to say anything nor to move. They just waited for the unavoidable.

My man's are becoming more daring this days I think." He said in low and wicked tone. "Let's make things clear, I want the household of Patrick to be cleared before the end of the hour, let his family be an example, all extreme methods are aloud. And yeah all their women's will be sold to brothels, or you can just passed them the solders at least they can serve"

His words were orders. He smiled towards the window as he saw the birds flying away. While the rest went pail faces and scared shit. But, still the meeting went on like nothing happened.

All his men kept conversing about the plans for winter preparation, to provide shelters and food for the poor. And to send more troops to the west, to protect their merchants there, who kept getting robbed by some gangs. They kept talking on and on. The subjects were different, and the meeting went for hours.

He pretended to be listening, but in fact he couldn't keep his mind from thinking of his next move. His role was crucial, and a huge responsibility lays under his shoulders in the coming events. A nock in the door, pulled their attention toward the server who entered holding a sealed letter. With caution steps he approached the head of the table were Alex set. And as soon as he was at arm reach Alex immediately pulled the letter out of the tray and walked toward the window, were the sun shined, and the trees danced with the breeze.

He took a deep breath trying to calm himself while reading the letter over and over again carefully. Even his men noticed the change in his mood, for they exchanged a worried looks.

After a while, he crunched the paper between his palms and announced with icy, calm tone.

"Am heading down to earth for couple of days. Liam, I need you to take control until I am back. Continue with the meeting. Am leaving now."

"But your majesty" Liam quickly questioned the sudden announcement as he run after Alex through the castle corridors, leaving the ministers in total shock and astonishment. And who can blame them? Especially that their king despised human and hated their filthy race. He considered them as lowly, barbaric being unable to be civilized.

"Your majesty. Why the sudden leave? Had something happened?"

"I will tell you later." Alex answered him, knowing exactly that now is not the good time to share information. And knowing exactly what Liam is thinking about he add:

"And don't think about following me, or sending someone after me." He commended coldly giving him no place for argument.

And without glancing him any other look he cut his way through the castle halls. Thinking about the disturbing information his men had sent him:

Your majesty

Some of our agents here are missing or dead, and few of our secret bases been destroyed by an unknown. For the moment we are keeping things under-control, yet the plan to weep our occurrence in Earth is still under process.

For further information. Your faithful servant.

His moves were calculated. Radiated authority and supremacy, sending every server and guard in his path to bow undeniably in submission at his aura. Their heads bowed in awe and in total respect. Their admiration, was clearly shown through their looks. And their loyalty to him will never at all quiver.

He walked through the halls of the castle. And as soon as he come to the arc the keeper there bowed and signaled to his comrade to activate the formation just in a seconds a portal appeared.

He crossed the door between the two worlds; earth, and the supernatural realm. Oblivious that tonight his fate will be sealed and his life will change forever. Because tonight he will be crossing path with the his one.
