"Brian, stop!" I squealed. It was the hottest day of July and Brian McAdams was throwing ice packs. "No, you're gonna learn how to give me a straight answer," he laughed. "Oh my gosh, no!" I exclaimed as I fell backwards. Brian of course took this to his advantage. He pounced on me in approximately two-point-five seconds and began tickling me. Tears and sweat rolled down my face as I struggled to catch my breath. "Okay, okay," I cried. Brian grinned at me devilishly, "Scream uncle!" I choked out uncle and Brian reluctantly released his death grip on my waist. I propped myself up on my elbows making our faces awkwardly close. I pushed Brian on his shoulders causing him to fall backwards. I stood up and brushed myself off. "Brian, honey, won't you ever propose? Waiting in you is fatal," I joked in my best Southern belle voice. Brian stood up and grabbed my hands. "But alas, we're only sixteen. Darling, rumors would spread, and I Don't want to inflict that type of pain on you. You'd be disowned and scorned upon, just wait a few more years," he responded gingerly. "I don't care about that, all that matters is that we are together! We can run away into the forrest, my father hates me anyway. Please, let us go now, and as we make love to commemorate our new lives, the little squirrels and bunnies can watch and know that humans can love too. Brian please, all I want is you," I cried as I grabbed his shoulders making his face kissing distance. Brian began howling, " I can't believe your sister actually said that." We joked about my sister Ashlee's rushed marriage arrangements whenever things got awkward between us.
