"Do we have to do this?"
"Yes."
"Can't I just stay here?" Han chuckles "N/N, you helped so whether you want to or not your coming to claim this medal thing." I huff staying quite. "Hey kid, your late." I turn my head slightly watching Luke walking over grinning "Not that late." Han grins and we turn to face the doors as they open. The room is full lines of rebels on either side.
Han brushes the back of my hand with his and Chewie walks just behind us. Leia is standing at the front of the room, she looks beautiful in her dress. Smiling brightly she places a medal around each of our necks and we all bow before turning to face the room. Everyone applauds and I manage a small smile, Han has a lazy grin on his face looking extremely comfortable with all the attention.
Finally we are allowed to leave and Han nudges me gently "Wasn't so bad was it?" I shove him in the arm making him laugh "Come on, I'm starving." he walks with Chewie while I walk next to Luke admiring him out the corner of my eye "You look um very pretty, I mean you always look pretty. Well beautiful really but you know." his face scrunches up slightly as he turns away, I reach out for his hand squeezing it gently "You look handsome."
Luke P/O/V:
Pull your self together. Just tell her she looks nice. "You look um very pretty, I mean you always look pretty. Well beautiful really but you know." I turn my head away, smooth Luke. Now you sound like an idiot. Her hand links with mine as she lets out an adorable little giggle, her hand is mostly smooth with a few calluses probably from tools and a blaster. "You look handsome." my heart does a somersault at that and I turn to look at her fully grinning "Do you maybe want to go out again maybe tomorrow?" she nods "I'd love to."
We walk into the food hall and she drops my hand grabbing a tray of food before following her brother and Chewie to a table. I follow and Leia soon joins us as well grinning, she starts to talking to Y/N and I turn to Han questioning about his past.
